Lara Trump raised more than a few eyebrows after she tried to claim on Fox News that her father-in-law is currently 'leading the country' despite Biden being President.

Social media users were left scratching their heads after Lara Trump made the bizarre claim in an interview that her father-in-law, former Republican President Donald Trump, was currently "leading the country."

Trump, who is the co-chair of the Republican National Committee and married to the presumptive GOP nominee's third child, Eric, appeared on Fox News and rambled:

“The fact that you have Donald Trump leading the country right now when he is not officially yet back in the White House speaks volumes to the American people and, I think, to the rest of the world."

And with that, the proverbial record-scratch was heard across the nation.

You can watch the clip here.

Last we checked, Democratic President Joe Biden was still running the country.

While we don't know what reality she's living in right now, she was immediately fact-checked after delivering her confusion on the current state of affairs in U.S. politics.

X users continued shaking their heads at the ridiculousness of it all.

Our vote is crucial, now more than ever.

Make sure you make your voice heard come November.
