The former GOP Rep. slammed Eric Trump as a 'child' for resharing a post over Memorial Day weekend about how his family 'gave up everything to save America.'

Former Illinois Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger called Eric Trump "a child" for resharing a post heading into Memorial Day weekend claiming that his family "gave up everything to Save America."

The photo in the original post that was shared by Eric, features former President Donald Trump flanked by his wife Melania, and his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric, who are shown standing next to their respective partners Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lara Trump.

Eric Trump later retweeted the photo—which was captioned "The family that gave up everything to Save America"—and responded with all the modesty he could muster:

"And we will do it again!"

Eric Trump's post soon caught Kinzinger's attention—and he was quick to point out just how inappropriate the younger Trump scion's post was ahead of a day meant to honor fallen service members.

He wrote:

"I wasn’t going to tweet anything political this weekend, but i have to make an exception for this. Your family has sacrificed nothing, your name will become synonymous with “Benedict Arnold” and how dare you tweet this, THIS weekend."
"You don’t know the first thing about service you child."

Kinzinger himself is a military veteran, having previously served in the United States Air Force. He also flew missions in South America, Guam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Many appreciated Kinzinger's remarks.

Many joined him criticizing Eric Trump's tactless post.

Eric Trump's post came as his father faces renewed criticism for the many times he's disrespected members of the military, particularly the "suckers and losers" who die in combat.

According to a 2020 report from The Atlantic, Trump canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, near Paris, in 2018. At the time, four individuals with direct knowledge of the situation revealed that Trump declined the visit due to concerns about his hair being affected by the rain and a lack of importance placed on honoring American war dead.

During discussions with senior staff members on the morning of the planned visit, Trump questioned the necessity of visiting the cemetery, referring to it as "filled with losers." Additionally, on the same trip, he reportedly referred to the over 1,800 Marines who perished at Belleau Wood as "suckers" for losing their lives.

Erika Kirk Has Ultimate Freudian Slip While Honoring Student With 'Charlie Kirk Courage Award'

Erika Kirk was mocked online after she had an epic Freudian slip while honoring Utah Valley University student Caleb Chilcutt with the Charlie Kirk Courage Award at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest over the weekend and misspoke while comparing Chilcutt to her late husband, far-right activist Charlie Kirk.

The late Kirk, who was assassinated at UVU in September, was a virulent white supremacist who aligned with the Christian right and advocated for Christian nationalism, promoting a nativist, fundamentalist Christian view of society. All the while, he openly attacked LGBTQ+ rights, backed the white genocide conspiracy theory, and was a major figure in the MAGA movement.

To say that the rise of artificial intelligence, or AI for short, is a contentious issue would be a gross understatement.

In addition to the growing concern that AI will create job scarcity in almost every profession, recent studies have shown AI continues to leave a devastating carbon footprint. Its water usage alone surpassed the entirety of bottled water worldwide.

GOP Rep. Thomas Massie Threatens To Impeach Pam Bondi Over Heavily-Redacted Epstein Files

Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie announced that he's launched an impeachment investigation into Attorney General Pam Bondi following the release of several heavily-redacted files related to the late financier, pedophile, and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
