Liam Neeson Admits He Was 'Uncomfortable' After Joy Behar Thirsted Over Him On 'The View'

The 'Taken' actor was all set to talk about important subjects, but instead found himself in the middle of a 'thirteen, fourteen-year-old crush' by 'The View' co-host.

Last week, Liam Neeson chatted with the ladies of The View to promote his new movie Marlowe. Neeson, however, found himself in an "uncomfortable" situation when co-host Joy Behar made her fondness of the actor blatantly apparent.

At one point, an old clip played showing Behar morbidly joking she wanted her ashes to be spread all over Neeson when she's gone.

At the wrapping of the segment, Whoopi Goldberg admitted she was "afraid" to have him back as a guest on the show.

You can watch a montage of the more cringeworthy moments below.

As you can imagine, Neeson was less than humored by his interaction with the co-host.

He told Rolling Stone:

"I was in the dressing room drinking a cup of tea, turned the TV up, and I thought, oh, this will be great. They're talking about gun violence in America, and I agree that it's an American problem."
"I go onstage and join the ladies during the break, and I was congratulating them on this discussion."

But then, he revealed, things took a turn.

"And then our segment starts and it's just all this BS with Joy and Liam Neeson and having a crush, and I've known Whoopi for years and Joy a little bit, but I just wasn't impressed."
"I'm uncomfortable in those situations, you know?"
"One of the ladies [Sunny Hostin] is a prosecutor and we had a little chat afterward and it was a good, intelligent conversation, but then the segment's all about this - oof - thirteen, fourtenen-year-old crush."
"It's just a bit embarrassing."

Viewers of the segment wholeheartedly agreed with the Taken star, many noting that if the roles were reversed, similar behavior from a male would be completely unacceptable.

Fortunately, during breaks from Behar's thirsting, Neeson did get a chance to address some more serious topics, with Behar engaging in conversation about the 30th anniversary of Neeson's film Schindler's List and asking him for his thoughts on anti-Semitism in America.

You can see their discussion below.

Ted Cruz Clashes With 'Crazy' MTG Over Her Cryptic Post Alluding That 'The Jews' Are Trying To Kill Her

Texas MAGA Republican Senator Rafael "Ted" Cruz raised eyebrows when he attacked Georgia QAnon/MAGA Republican Representative and conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) for being antisemitic.

MTG has promoted some antisemitic conspiracy theories in the past, like Jewish space lasers that control the weather or start wildfires, but this time people are calling Cruz out for reaching in an attempt to discredit the Georgia Republican and protect Trump from what's being concealed in FBI, Department of Justice, and court records relating to the indictment of Jeffrey Epstein on charges of sex trafficking of minors.

After far-right provocateur Nick Adams suggested that the singer, a fierce critic of the Trump administration, should not have been chosen for the halftime gig, California Governor Gavin Newsom's press office took to X to mock him in the account's now familiar Trump-esque style.
