Jordanna Barrett, wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers lineback Shaquil Barrett, has broken fans' hearts with a sincere and vulnerable statement following the tragic death of her and her husband's daughter.

The Barrett's two-year-old girl Arrayah tragically drowned on Sunday morning after falling into the swimming pool at their family home, just days after her second birthday on April 19.

In the aftermath, Jordanna Barrett took to Instagram to thank fans who had reached out with condolences and to pay tribute to Arrayah. See her post below.

In her Instagram caption, Barrett wrote:

“Thank you all for all the messages, flowers, thoughts and prayers. Our world will never be the same."

"Arrayah was the apple of my eye, and my heart will forever be with hers. I love you so much my baby. I am so so sorry."

She went on to ask Arrayah to watch over her family from the beyond.

“Until we see each other again, please watch over your siblings and momma and dada."
"We love you forever and ever and always. I can’t wait to see that precious smile again, and just hug you so close. I would do absolutely anything."
"There is no Barrett 6 without you, and we will forever hold your place down here, until we all meet again in heaven. I love you forever and always.”

On social media, Jordanna's post inspired an outpouring of support for the couple from football fans.

Shaquil and Jordanna Barrett have three other children, Aaliyah, Braylon, and Shaquil Jr.

Arrayah was found in the pool Sunday morning and rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police investigating the matter said they had no suspicions that the drowning was anything more than a "purely accidental and tragic incident."
