When Dolly Parton revealed to Jimmy Fallon that her husband wanted to have a threesome with Jennifer Aniston, the late night host was as shocked as the rest of us.

Though no one seemed to be more surprised than Aniston herself.

On Monday, the 72-year-old country music legend dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to chat with Fallon about working on the soundtrack for the upcoming Netflix film Dumplin'. Things took a very NSFW turn when Parton revealed just how excited her husband, Carl Dean Thomas, was that she was working with the film's star and producer, Jennifer Aniston.

Parton fans were not overly surprised though as Dolly is always just her authentic self during interviews.

The eight time Grammy winner said:

"My husband is crazy about her, and he was more excited that I was going to do a movie with her than he was that I got the chance to write all this music. I think he fantasizes, like, a threesome."

Parton then joked:

"He can't even get it out to pee, much less get it up for three."

The comment knocked Fallon out of his chair and floored Parton fans everywhere.

Even Parton Seemed a little surprised by what she had said.

But fans knew it was just Dolly being Dolly.

Days later Aniston has finally had a chance to respond.

"My mouth just dropped," Aniston said in an interview with USA Today.

"And then I laughed my (butt) off. That's Dolly."
"It was hilarious, I think it's flattering. And that's Dolly's sense of humor. No one in the world can get away with saying anything like that about their partner on live television, except Dolly. I mean, that is a quote."

Aniston says she and Parton have shared some laughs about the comment, which Aniston knew was only meant as a joke.

"That was just talk-show fodder."

And the pair continued to joke about it during an interview with E!.

When asked if she had gotten in trouble with her husband for the comment, Parton revealed that he had also found it pretty funny.

"My husband he thought that was a hoot and he said 'Well maybe I couldn't do a threesome but I think if it is Jennifer I could do like a two-and-a-half'."

What might be the best part of the story though is the friendship Parton and Aniston have developed over the course of working together on Dumplin'

For the coming-of-age comedy about a plus-sized daughter (Danielle Macdonald) entering a pageant run by her former beauty queen mother (Aniston), Parton convinced the pair to sing back-up vocals on "Push and Pull", one of the songs written by Parton for the soundtrack.

For Aniston recording the song was a very emotional experience.

"I was so nervous but I sang through it and then got my voice. I literally couldn't have a squeak come out, and then when we finished, I remembered, I just burst into tears."

And their friendship has continued outside the recording booth. Aniston says they have become pen pals, Instead of texting, Parton writes her letters.

"They're beautiful," Aniston says describing the letters, "all on stationary with this Dolly letterhead. She's so old-fashioned. I give her a phone call back after she writes. I like talking to her on the phone."

The soundtrack for Dumplin' is available now and the movie will be available for streaming on Netflix December 7th.
