Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne reported the actor "experienced a medical complication" on Tuesday, but thankfully the Oscar winner is already on the mend.
Corinne shared a statement on behalf of the family to Instagram that read:
"From the Foxx Family:"
"We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday."
"Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery."
The statement continued:
"We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers."
"The family asks for privacy during this time."
TMZ reported Foxx was hospitalized, but as of Thursday the Django Unchained star "is doing a lot better."
The outlet was told the medical emergency was serious and doctors are still unsure of exactly what happened. Foxx will remain hospitalized as doctors continue to perform tests.
Upon learning of the news, fans flooded to social media to share their support and send their well wishes for his continued recovery.
