It's no secret that since Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have been congressionally unconfirmed de facto members of the government wielding their relational proximity to the White House for their own political ambitions and profits.

After all, it's become a running joke inside the beltway that Jared Kushner's portfolio in this administration encompasses everything from the pandemic to Middle East peace.

Ivanka, for her part, is a senior advisor to her father, as well as the 'Director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship'.

And in reality, she has become an unelected mouth-piece for her father, and his stand-in when he doesn't feel like doing the job he was elected to do.

Jared and Ivanka, or Javanka as some call them, have tried to style themselves as some kind of Republican answer to JFK and Jackie. However, unlike JFK and Jackie, they have found themselves inextricably linked to an administration that is unparalleled in its corruption, penchant for lying and conspiracy, ineptitude and its mishandling of a national health crisis to the tune of nearly 300,000 deaths and counting.

It is because of these facts that it was even more egregious when Ivanka Trump offered to join former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, in taking the vaccine on camera to boost public faith in the vaccination effort. The three former Presidents announced they would do so on Thursday morning.

Ivanka retweeted an article about the news.

Many people felt it was ridiculous that Ivanka was placing herself on the same level as three former Presidents.

And yes, the jail jokes kept on rolling in.

And many certainly didn't want to see Ivanka 'low-risk for severe illness' getting to jump the vaccine line for a photo-op.

It seems pretty clear the entire Trump family has squandered any public good will they might have ever had with the majority of the world. If they had a say, you'd have to wait your turn, Ivanka.
