Ten years ago, Adele Dazeem was brought to life thanks to a John Travolta flub, and Idina Menzel was the first to wish her a happy birthday.
Exactly a decade ago, Travolta butchered Menzel's name while introducing her to the Oscars stage for her performance of the Frozen hit "Let It Go," but the name that came out of his mouth was not the Tony winner's.
Travolta instead said:
“Please welcome the wickedly talented, one and only, Adele Dazeem."

The moment became an instant internet sensation and lives on to this day.
So it's only appropriate that the "wickedly talented, the one and only" Idina Menzel would wish Adele Dazeem a happy birthday on this, the tenth anniversary, of Travolta's viral moment.
Menzel took to TikTok to sing "Happy Birthday" to Travolta's creation and to wish her all the best:
“I just wanted to say happy birthday. I’m sending you so much love and positive energy."
“I hope you have the best, best day.”

At the time, Travolta blamed the name butchering on the teleprompter, telling Jimmy Kimmel it was spelled phonetically on the prompter and he "didn't practice it that way."
But Dazeem, err Menzel, had a good laugh about it and even got her revenge at the Oscars the following year, introducing the actor as "Glom Gazingo."
