A man from Toronto, Canada thought he was doing a good thing when he offered to buy a fast food meal for a homeless person.

But instead of expressing gratitude for his philanthropy, the vagrant fat-shamed him.

Influencer Stuart Jeffrey, a.k.a. @janikon_/TikTok, couldn't help but find his admirable deed backfiring hysterical–which was evidenced in his recounting of the wacky encounter in a viral TikTok video.

"I just got back from … I can't do it," Jeffrey attempted to explain through fits of giggling. "It's so terrible."

No, I can’t re-record this, I’m laughing too hard #fyp

He tried his best to compose himself as he explained:

"I just got back from McDonald's where I went to get a coffee, and ... there was a homeless man sitting outside and he was like 'can you spare some change?' "
"I was like 'I can't, I don't have any spare change but if you want me to get you something from McDonald's I am more than happy to.'"

Jeffrey continued:

"So he was like 'sure can I get a coffee with two creams and a Big Mac?'"
"So I get his food and I'm handing it to him and I go 'have a great day' and he goes 'umm...in the future, a word of advice, I'd lay off the McDonald's."
"The worst part was I was fat-shamed for doing a good deed."

The video was a viral hit with more than two million views.

It turns Jeffrey wasn't the only one who experienced an encounter with a sassy homeless person.

The thread turned into a supersized list of one humorous anecdote after another.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
