A lecture by a Harvard professor has turned the world of Keto dieters topsy-turvy. Now how is everyone going to make their fat-bombs?


Karin Michels, an adjunct professor at Harvard School of Public Health, gave a talk called Coconut Oil and Other Nutritional Errors. The talk was posted to YouTube in July and now has nearly 1 million views.

In the talk, which is in German, Michels repeatedly calls coconut oil "pure poison" and says:

I can only warn you urgently about coconut oil.This is one of the worst foods you can eat.
