'Heated Rivalry' Star Has Cheeky Reaction After Miley Cyrus Says She Wants To Do Music For Season 2

After Miley Cyrus said she's "so in" to do some music for season 2 of the hit show despite not having watched it, star François Arnaud had some choice words for her.

The HBO Max series Heated Rivalry is pretty much THE break-out TV hit of the past several months, so no wonder singer Miley Cyrus says she's "so in" on collaborating on season two.

But one of the stars of the show, François Arnaud, doesn't seem so sure it's quite the right fit.

After Cyrus said she wants to create music for the show—despite admitting she hadn't even watched it yet—Arnaud had the perfect cheeky response: "She should watch the show first."

Heated Rivalry is, of course, nothing if not controversial—the show revolves around the love affairs between gay professional hockey players Ilya and Shane, played by Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, respectively, as well as with Arnaud's character Scott Hunter.

And the sex scenes on the Canadian series? Well let's just say the show doesn't pull any punches!

But Cyrus has always been an outspoken fan of the gays, so it's no wonder she told Variety's Marc Malkin at the Palm Springs International Film Festival gala that she's champing at the bit to collab with the show.

At a reporter's suggestion she should create a song for the show's second season, Cyrus replied enthusiastically:

“I'm so in. Book me! Get me booked.”

But Cyrus might be in for a bit of a rude awakening! Huge as the show is, TV budgets these days simply aren't what they used to be, and as Arnaud joked to a reporter, Heated Rivalry is no exception.

First, Arnaud took the opportunity to urge Cyrus to watch the show.

“She hasn’t even watched the show. She should watch the show first. Miley. Watch the d**n show!"

Then, he offered a bit of joking advice to Cyrus to temper her expectations.

“Also, I think we might get a little bit bigger budget for Season 2, but I don’t know if we get Miley budget.”
"I think if she sees the show, she might give us a discount.”

Whether Cyrus is feeling that kind of generous or not, fans of both the singer and the show are all about the idea.

Here's hoping Miley's feeling extra charitable in 2026 and we all can get the collab we deserve.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

At least two Republican politicians are facing criticism after they fell for a clearly A.I.-generated photo of the rescue of two U.S. airmen whose fighter jet went down in Iran over the weekend.

U.S. special forces rescued the second crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran, according to three U.S. officials cited by Axios. The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.
