Keke Palmer Just Tried To Claim That Jesus Must've Been A Virgo—And Her Reasoning Is Hilariously On Point

While bonding with Amy Poehler about being Virgos, Keke Palmer explained why she thinks Jesus Christ must have also been a Virgo—and fans are cracking up.

Keke Palmer is probably one of the "best hangs" in Hollywood, so it only makes sense that she has, in just days, become one of Amy Poehler's most iconic "Good Hang" guests.

Palmer stopped by Poehler's Good Hang podcast to talk about all sorts of stuff, but what really seems to have caught the internet's attention is her takes on astrology.

Specifically: the astrology of Jesus Christ himself.

Poehler and Palmer are both Virgos, the cardinal Earth sign that begins August 22nd and signals the start of Fall and, hence, is the color-coded-spreadsheet "get it done" sign of the zodiac. Think: Summer vacation is over and school is back in session!

So naturally, a lot of icons are Virgos. And Palmer is convinced that the rumors about Jesus being a September Virgo are true!

Virgos are often summed up as detail-oriented taskmasters, but what gets lost is the purpose of all that organization and fastidiousness: they're on a mission.

And as Palmer and Poehler discussed in their chat, that means we have prominent Virgos in all kinds of disciplines, especially Hollywood: Aside from Poehler and Palmer themselves, Queen Beyoncé is such a Virgo she wrote a whole song about it on Renaissance.

But there's also Zendaya, Kobe Bryant, and even Mother Teresa. Or as Palmer put it:

"It's more than entertainment... We even have a strong, prayed-up Virgo!"

And speaking of which, Palmer then shared a theory she's heard that she's convinced is true. She told Poehler:

"And look, I'm not going to go there, but I heard that we celebrate it on Christmas, but I heard that Jesus maybe was born in September. That's what I heard!"
"Capricorns like to claim him, but we really got him!"

She's got a point: While Republicans love to fantasize that Jesus was a right-wing capitalist as the work, money and prestige-obsessed late-December zodiac sign of Capricorn would suggest, he spent his entire life preaching about helping others and sharing the wealth.

That's Virgo stuff! (Or Aquarius stuff, but that's a whole other discussion.)

Poehler agreed with Palmer, joking about Virgos' detail-oriented love of order.

"We know the truth... We know that Jesus kept his eye masks very separate from his supplements."

To which Palmer replied:

"I mean, you can't have disciples and not organize them!... He was running a lot of things... Orchestratin!"

Naturally, people on the internet loved this hot take—especially those who are Virgos themselves.

It really does make sense: The ol' JC did have a lot going on and he seemed to have managed it so effectively that he was even able to do miracles after getting everybody in their place and telling Rome to stuff it.

Now that's Virgo energy. So happy Virgo season, Virgos, from Amy Poehler, Keke Palmer and Jesus Christ Himself (probably).
