Flight Attendant Reveals The Things She'd Never Do While Flying—And We're Taking Notes

TikToker @cherdallas, who has worked as a flight attendant for five years, laid out three things she'd 'never do as a flight attendant' in an eye-opening viral video.

Anyone who has ever traveled by plane knows that it's important to arrive a while before the flight to avoid missing it, to bring something to entertain yourself like a book, and obviously, to bring snacks.

But there are other important aspects we may have never thought about that could make our flying experiences so much better.

TikToker @cherdallas has been working as a flight attendant for the past five years, traveling all over the world, and she has definitely seen some things during that time.

Her channel largely focuses on her experiences as a flight attendant and sneak peeks into the places she has traveled to because of her work, but she recently decided to start sharing tips with her audience about how to make their trips better.

Dallas' first tip was to never wear shorts on a flight. While comfort is important for traveling, she argues that most flights are too cold for shorts to be comfortable, and if an emergency were to arise and passengers needed to exit the plane, passengers wearing shorts might not be appropriately dressed for the exit, especially for going down the rough emergency slide where your butt cheeks might get 'sizzled off.'

The second tip that the TikToker offered was about the time between connecting flights. While we all know by now that we need to arrive at the airport early to catch a flight, too many of us have booked flights too close together and missed our second flight because of navigating the airport, long lines, or because our first flight was delayed.

But the most important tip the flight attendant offered had to do with the restrooms on planes, namely, the toilet paper. Because the restroom is in a flying object, cleanliness is not always as possible as it technically should be in a standard public bathroom. For this reason, it's always better to use your own tissues or wipes instead of using the bathroom toilet paper, which often has water droplets on it or what "looks like" water droplets.

While some found the emergency exit comment to be far-fetched, they still found the thought entertaining.

Others agreed about the layover times, with some admitting to having made this mistake themselves.

After receiving such enthusiastic feedback, the TikToker decided to share a video of safety tips that she's learned during her five years as a flight attendant, as well as another video including three additional tips for what she would never do on a flight as a flight attendant, including sending a child as an unaccompanied minor.

While we might think that we have everything about travel figured out, especially if we travel often, it's important to remember that we can always learn something new if we're willing to listen. The number of people who had never thought about what they might be seeing in the bathroom on a flight was testament to that!

Lindsey Graham Sparks Fury After Suggesting That Trump Could Be The Next Pope

After President Donald Trump jokingly told reporters that he'd "like to be pope" following the death of Pope Francis, South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham threw himself behind Trump's remarks, which came after Trump already raised the ire of critics for seemingly falling asleep at the Pope's funeral.

Trump said that he himself "would be my number one choice" to be the next pope after he was asked who he’d like to see become the next pontiff. That would never, ever happen—and disrespects the billions of Catholics around the world who are in mourning—but Graham suggested it was a good idea in a post on X.

Trump Bizarrely Clashes With Reporter Over Photoshopped 'Tattoo' On Abrego Garcia's Knuckles

President Donald Trump sparked criticism after claiming during an interview with ABC News’ Terry Moran that an edited photo depicting tattoos of wrongly-deported Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia showed that he has an alleged connection to the MS-13 gang.

Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who arrived in the U.S. in 2012, was labeled a threat in 2019 due to an alleged connection to MS-13. He spent months in detention before an immigration judge found he had a credible fear of persecution—not from MS-13, but from a rival group, Barrio 18, which he said had been extorting his family.

Leavitt Lashes Out At Amazon Over 'Hostile' Plan To Display Added Tariff Costs For Products On Website

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at Amazon over news that the commerce giant planned to display increased "import charges" on items on their Amazon Haul website, essentially showing to customers the extra money they'd have to shell out as a result of President Donald Trump's tariffs.

Trump has escalated a growing trade war by imposing tariffs of up to 145% on Chinese imports, prompting China to retaliate with its own 125% tariffs on American goods. Additionally, the U.S. has slapped a 10% tax on imports from most other countries, while temporarily suspending higher rates for several nations for 90 days.
