TikToker Mom Stunned To Discover Her Ex Planted An AirTag In Their Daughter's Jacket

Mother shocked to discover an AirTag hidden in her daughter's jacket

TikToker @ikieralee19 found the tracking device in a torn seam of her daughter's jacket after she'd spent the weekend at her father's place.

While it may be fascinating to see how quickly and creatively technology is advancing, it's unnerving how some people are choosing to use their devices.

Ikiera of @ikieralee19 on TikTok recently made a startling discovery when her phone notified her that an AirTag that was not linked to her account was geographically near her.

Whenever two Apple products are near each other and both have their locations enabled, Apple will notify the user that a product from another account is near them. In the case of Apple AirTags, the person can request for the AirTag to make a sound, so they can see where it is.

After making this request, Ikiera was surprised to hear the AirTag sound coming from her first floor. But the AirTag's appearance was no accident.

In a viral TikTok video, Ikiera explained:

"I pressed the sound, and the sound literally starts playing, and I literally hear it downstairs, so I go looking."
"Do you want to know where I found it?"

Ikiera then showed her daughter's light pink coat that had a cut in the seam, stating that her ex had "tried to glue it back together" after hiding the AirTag inside the sleeve's layers.

Ikiera appeared upset in the remaining video:

"My ex and I have split custody. He has her on weekends and decided to put an AirTag in her jacket."
"Is this normal? Is this a normal human being thing to do? Is this even legal?"
"I don't know what to do."

Some thought it was suspicious that the OP's ex had not told her about it.

In a brief follow-up video, the mom confirmed that she confronted her ex about the AirTag she'd found, and his response was not exactly comforting.

She said:

"I confronted him about it, and he said he was 'collecting addresses' of the places I take my daughter to."

The mother also confirmed via comment:

"He's been trying to take her away from me [via full-custody] for two years."

This only serves to confirm some TikTokers' suspicions that the ex-husband's intentions were not exactly pure. Whether it was a further attempt at gaining custody of his child, or if he was stalking his ex-wife, the discovery of the AirTag without someone's consent was unnerving.

Apple has advised customers that if they discover an AirTag on their person that they were not aware of, they should disable the device by pressing down on the back of the AirTag and twisting counterclockwise, which will allow them to remove the battery and disable its tracking abilities.

Kyle Rittenhouse Dragged After Making Outrageous Claim About Fluoride In Water

In another bid to get back into the good graces of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's fans, gun rights poster boy Kyle Rittenhouse claimed fluoride in drinking water is "making people gay."

Rittenhouse fell out of favor with the MAGAsphere in 2024 for criticizing their Dear Leader on his 2nd Amendment stance. After deleting the critical X post which spawned rumors among Trump's MAGA minions that he was secretly transgender, Rittenhouse stayed off social media until December 2025 when he announced he was married.

Trump Blasted After Declaring Himself ‘Acting President Of Venezuela’ In Mock Wikipedia Entry

President Donald Trump is facing criticism after he shared a mock Wikipedia entry that features a picture of himself with the new title of "Acting President of Venezuela." This comes little more than a week after his administration invaded the South American country and ousted its dictator Nicolás Maduro.

Trump previously claimed the U.S. will take a day-to-day role governing Venezuela after removing Maduro, an act of regime change widely viewed as an act of war that came without congressional approval and violated international law.
