People online are applauding actor Donna D'Errico, one of the stars of the 1990s series Baywatch, after she clapped back at women who trolled her with ageist, body-shaming criticism.

D'Errico, who is 54, recently posted a photo of herself in a bikini on Instagram, and was quickly hit with criticism from women who felt she was "desperate" and "too old" to be posting such content.

D'Errico was having none of it, posting yet another bikini shot in response that included a caption putting her critics in place. See it below.

D'Errico pointedly told her critics exactly what she thought of their comments. Her caption reads:

"Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was 'classier than that' and 'too old to wear a bikini' and, my favorite, 'desperate'."
"Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want."
"On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table ❤️"

Take that, trolls. Who's desperate now?

And just in case D'Errico's stance wasn't perfectly clear, she clarified in the comments that the supposedly offensive video that started the uproar is and will remain live on her Instagram page.

"For all those asking, no I didn't remove the red white & blue 4th of July video. It's still up under the 'reels' tab on my page."

D'Errico frequently re-ups her Baywatch legacy by posting photos of herself in swimwear to social media, but has also said that she struggles to feel confident in herself at times.

In a since-deleted post last year, D'Errico said she "really struggles" with self-image, writing in the post's caption:

"I can pose for photos and manage to look smoldering, but in real life I'm very self conscious."

In the comments of her most recent post, fans applauded her for not giving into the haters and asserting her right to wear and post whatever she wants.

D'Errico first rose to prominence when she joined the Baywatch cast in 1996 and quickly became part of the show's beloved roster of "Baywatch Babes" alongside actors Yasmine Bleeth and the show's most famous alumna Pamela Anderson.

Lauren Boebert In Hot Water After She's Busted Spending Campaign Funds On Kid Rock Concert Tickets

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert is facing criticism after Federal Election Commission (FEC) records showed she spent over $3,300 of her campaign funds on concert tickets and a hotel in Texas on the same weekend her once-rumored boyfriend—MAGA singer Kid Rock—was performing.

Boebert’s campaign reported expenses for a hotel stay in Arlington, Texas, and for event tickets purchased in May. On May 16, Boebert attended the Rock N Rodeo — part of the Professional Bull Riding Championship World Finals at AT&T Stadium — an event hosted by Kid Rock. She even shared a photo of herself with the singer on social media.
