Given the "girl bye" reception her departure announcement received last month, it seems pretty certain that Meghan McCain is at the top of the list of least popular The View hosts of all time.

It would be hard to come up with a replacement for McCain who could possibly irk the internet as much as she did, but by golly, eldest failson of former Republican President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., just might have done it.

In a tweet, seen below, Trump Jr. suggested his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle take over McCain's spot, and that sound you hear is the entire internet screaming "LOL ABSOLUTELY NOT."

As always, rumors are swirling about behind-the-scenes drama at The View, this time because the show is supposedly scrambling to find a fittingly conservative replacement for McCain, whose tenure on the show concludes at the end of the month.

Traditionally at least one seat on The View's panel has been held by a conservative Republican. And according to the rumor mill, the shortlist for McCain's seat comprises a list of very conservative conservatives, including Guilfoyle and fellow right-wing nightmares Megyn Kelly and Candace Owens.

So Trump Jr. tagged ABC, the network that produces and airs The View, and did that good old-fashioned "Haha I'm totally making fun of this unless you're actually serious in which case I'm not joking about this haha" thing, throwing out his endorsement of Guilfoyle for the job.

He tweeted:

"LOL, hey ⁦@ABC⁩ even I'd tune in to see ⁦@kimguilfoyle⁩ do this. Kim vs the other 4 doesn't seem like a fair fight though. You may need a few more libs."

Oh wow, sick burn on the libs, Jr., good work.

Anyway, if the thought of Don Jr.'s unhinged girlfriend having a standing engagement on live television every day of every week horrifies you to your very core, you're not alone.

Twitter dragged Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle to absolute filth for the mere suggestion.

Jr. appeared to have forgotten the reception he and Guilfoyle received from The View audience.

Perhaps Jr.'s significant other might not be the best choice after all.

Kari Lake Slammed After Warning Parents Not To Send Their Kids To College After Charlie Kirk Murder

Speaking during a memorial service for far-right activist Charlie Kirk at the Kennedy Center, failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake—now the Trump administration's Senior Advisor for the U.S. Agency for Global Media—called U.S. colleges “indoctrination camps” and urged parents not to send their children.

Lake ignored the fact that Kirk was killed while speaking at a college, in this case Utah Valley University (UVU), the largest university by enrollment in Utah.

Vance Claims Kirk Never Insulted Black Women's 'Brain Processing Power'—And Here Come The Receipts

Vice President JD Vance served as host of the late far-right activist Charlie Kirk's podcast this week and was called out after claiming Kirk "never uttered" words about the "brain processing power" of Black women—even though Kirk said as much in 2023.

Vance made the claim after Washington Post columnist Karen Attiah—a Black woman—said she was dismissed from the paper following social media posts on gun control and race after Kirk’s assassination.

Trump Swiftly Fact-Checked After Making Bonkers Claim About How Many Americans Died From Drugs Last Year

President Donald Trump was criticized after attempting to justify the bombing of a suspected Venezuelan drug boat by asserting that 300 million people died from drugs last year.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump was asked about the order he gave earlier this month to destroy a boat he suspected of transporting drugs off the coast of Venezuela, rather than simply intercepting it. All 11 people on board the boat were killed.
