Don Jr. Accuses Facebook Of 'Colluding With State Governments' By Removing Posts That Organize Protests

Famous non-expert of the law Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on Facebook's removal of social distancing protest events on Twitter, falsely accusing the company of violating First Amendment rights.

Since recent laws—put in place to protect people's health by spreading out impact on the healthcare system—make gathering in large groups illegal, Facebook has been adhering to its guidelines by removing events which promote unlawful activities.

Of course, the safety and well-being of American citizens isn't a large concern for Donald Trump Jr., who felt the real victim here was the free speech of the protestors.

Conservatives on social media agreed wholeheartedly with the President's son.

It's important to remember several facts: these protestors' right to free speech isn't being violated and their protests may cost people their lives.

Facebook is a publicly traded corporation and is not associated with the government in any way.

It is not obligated to host any person's views or beliefs, the same way Arby's is not required to host a meeting of your book club.

These mass protests are breaking state and federal health guidelines which were meant to protect not only the lives of the protestors, but anyone they may come in contact with.

In areas where such gatherings are still legal, Facebook has allowed the events to stay on the site.

A company representative told Politico:

"Unless government prohibits the event during this time, we allow it to be organized on Facebook. For this same reason, events that defy government's guidance on social distancing aren't allowed on Facebook."

Don Jr. seems pretty gung-ho about free speech now, but he isn't as big of a fan when it exposes him or his family.

Donald Trump Jr. is part of a group who insist on making even the most important public safety issues seem like partisan battles to be "won" by putting real people's lives in danger. This is something no responsible leader or decent human being would do.

AG Pam Bondi's Brother Blames 'Rabid Partisans' After Getting Absolutely Walloped In DC Election

MAGA Republican President Donald Trump has often bragged about his overwhelming victory over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming he won by a landslide. But while he did manage to finally win a popular vote in 2024, something he lost in 2016 and 2020, it was hardly a landslide.

About 90 million eligible, registered voters didn't bother to vote at all in 2024, while Trump garnered only ~77 million votes, VP Harris received about ~75 million—a difference of only ~2 million which is less than the population of Trump's hometown of Queens, New York City.

Kristi Noem's Past Views On National Guard Come Back To Bite Her After She Backs Trump Amid LA Protests

California Governor Gavin Newsom called out the hypocrisy of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem after sharing a clip from last year showing she'd once criticized the Biden administration for considering deploying the National Guard when Democrats suggested it as a response to Texas' immigration crackdown at the time.

That's noteworthy because Noem has made an about-face, defending President Donald Trump's decision to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles amid ongoing protests in response to his administration's immigration raids by claiming he'd taken this drastic step "for the safety of this community ... to keep peace."

Gavin Newsom Perfectly Calls Out Jim Jordan's Hypocrisy After Jordan Rants About What We Do 'In America'

After Ohio Representative Jim Jordan criticized Los Angeles protesters who've held Mexican flags in a symbolic move against President Donald Trump's immigration policies, California Governor Gavin Newsom called out his hypocrisy by sharing images of the January 6 insurrection.

Jordan, who chairs the House Judiciary Account, used the body's official X account to admonish "Democrat-run Los Angeles" by sharing a Fox News video of a protester who waved a Mexican flag as he circled a burning car on his motorcycle.
