Disney's new streaming service, Disney Plus, has been a topic of much interest since it was announced.

The service, which will challenge streaming giant Netflix, is set to launch on November 12th, 2019.

It will reportedly cost $6.99 a month. Users will also have the alternative payment option of a discounted $69.99 per year.

Kevin Mayer, Disney's direct-to-consumer and international chairman, said that Disney Plus "will likely" be bundled with Hulu and ESPN Plus at a discounted rate.

At launch, the service will offer 25 original series from franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, as well as National Geographic and Pixar properties. 10 movies and specials, and more than 400 existing Disney titles will also be available.

Disney projects that by Disney Plus' fifth year it will have over 50 new original series every year.

This will include the entire Star Wars collection (including the original trilogy!), and the first 30 seasons of The Simpsons.

These details were released as part of Disney's investor day presentation.

With the Disney-Fox merger, Disney now owns 60% share of Hulu (after taking ownership of Fox's 30%), leading to the likelihood that Disney Plus will be available as a bundle with other majority-Disney-owned services like Hulu and ESPN Plus.

New series announced included The Mandalorian, a Star Wars story produced by Iron Man producer Jon Favreau, and a spin-off of Rogue One.

On the Marvel side of things, Disney announced Falcon and Winter Soldier, as well as a Scarlet Witch and Vision-centered series called WandaVision.

Viewers were excited about the new streaming service, and the shows it will offer.

Others are intrigued by the low monthly price.

The hype over the recently announced series Loki that will be available on the platform, and that Tom Hiddleston will be returning to play the titular role, is real.

Whether you are a fan of Marvel, Star Wars, or classic Disney films, Disney Plus looks like it will have something for you. Now to wait until November.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
