People Confess Which Things They Are Most Jealous Of Another Gender About

Everyone spends too much time going through life jealous of what other people have.

For some reason we've been trained to believe we are less than if we don't measure up in perfection.

There is no greener grass people.

Gender for example. People have been a bit jelly of other people's perceived "gender gifts" for generations.

First of all, in this day and age of gender freedom, being jealous seems arbitrary for certain aspects.

Anatomy is anatomy yes, those are details we can discuss.

Let's chat...

Redditor Debravest wanted to hear about what aspects of other people's gender some of us envy.

They asked:

"People Confess Which Things They Are Most Jealous Of Another Gender About?"

My envy is superficial.

Women always get the man I want.

I'm jealous of that.

But that could be an internal issue on my end.

Cramped

"Not having periods." ~ grungeisforever

"This for sure. Been dealing with extremely painful cramps the last two days and it’s the first thing I thought of haha." ~ KristyPlays

When you gotta go...

"Being able to pee practically anywhere." ~ BroadBaker5101

"I was out on a super long walk with my dog this morning and REALLY had to pee. We were in a wooded area near the river, didn’t see anyone nearby, and there is a railroad bridge there."

"When down under the railroad bridge to an isolated corner and popped a squat. Just as I’m standing up a guy walks around the corner and just gives me a disgusted look before turning around." ~ jeswesky

Flex

"Not having sudden erections." ~ Goatgamer1016

"Here’s a random fact I know. If you want to get rid of an unwanted erection, flex a random muscle. All the blood will flow from your boner to the muscle." ~ Rhett12344

Hold Me

"Unsolicited hugs, cuddling without romance." ~ pranthlar

"YES. If a straight biological girl can hug their friends without it being lesbian, then i can hug my friends as a biological male without it being gay." ~ Amy_AroAce

"I’ve seen this comment a lot in this thread. I lost my best friend in the world last year and reading all these comments makes me so grateful that we hugged and said we loved each other any time we said goodbye. I miss him so much." ~ turndownforjesus

Oh Baby...

"Multiple orgasms." ~ edgemebaby

"I really wanna know how sex feels as a female." ~ doviid

Size Up!

"Being physically stronger and higher stamina. I really like to work but is always told that I can’t handle it." ~ gracewyte

"It usually results in more injuries. I worked for about 15 years in warehousing, slowly ground my body down to uselessness. I eventually injured myself so badly that I couldn't do heavy lifting, but for the longest time I still tried, and even people who knew I was injured still expected me to."

"Eventually I wrapped my mind around the fact that I just couldn't lift heavy things anymore, stopped trying, and my body actually started to heal. I now wake up pain free most mornings, and I can enjoy activities that I gave up years ago because I was just too broken down to do them."

"People still look at me first when they want something heavy lifted, but unless it's very close family I refuse." ~ Feinberg

The Looks

"Not having people look at you suspiciously when you take your daughter to the park. Don't get me wrong-- as a dude I appreciate that it takes incredibly little for me to be considered a 'good dad' while for women it takes incredibly little for them to be considered a 'bad mom.'"

"I just wish that I didn't literally have some random witch go up to my daughter and ask her if she felt safe while I was keeping an eye on her. I didn't even know what to say... but my daughter did, 'my daddy says not to talk to weirdos'."

"We use weirdo and strangers somewhat interchangeably in our home. I bought her ice cream afterwards." ~ phenerganandpoprocks

More Air

"Sun dresses in summer. They look so cool and comfortable!." ~ biscorama

"Usually when I wear a dress during summer my thighs will be sweaty because of the heat and them brushing against each other under the dress will make me uncomfortable and even be painful sometimes, so it might not be as good as it seems :/ (I'm not exactly skinny though so it's probably related)." ~ Dionysus_worshipper

Storage

"POCKETS! Actual freaking pockets in pants that hold more than a damn quarter."

"ETA. Wow I did not think this would blow up the way it did! Thank you all! And thank you for for my first award!!!" ~ Stonygirl87

Anti-Rough

"Pretty clothes pretty everything." ~ domthemomm

"Literally my favorite part of being a woman." ~ prettyjupiter

"Pretty and soft. I do not know why men have to have rough clothes." ~ TheInfamousBlack

"I love all the fluffy, sparkly, pink, and fussy details of my life. The older I get, the more comfortable I am leaning into it and I just love it. I'm a woman entering a male-dominated field and I will not dull down my love of pink and sparkle to fit in!" ~ dannixxphantom

Guy Culture

"The physical contact they share with their friends. Guys usually don't go around hugging each other. Personally for me a lot of why I'm not really a hugger is the culture where I live (Finland). I don't really want to make other people uncomfortable by invading their personal space."

IrmeliPoika

Emotions

"They can cry during movies or TV shows and not get thought less of or made fun of. Seriously, I get choked up at stupid stuff and have to try to hide it. Need to try to limit it to one manly tear." ~ KingGuy420

"I learned long ago to laugh at people who make fun of me for having emotions. It isn't my fault they bottle everything up." ~ InsrtOriginalUsrname

Expression

"The diversity of their wardrobe. Don’t get me wrong. I know that women’s fashion is often frustratingly inconvenient and unpractical. That said, I wish men’s clothes can include more than 3 colors and like... 4 styles."

YZ_C

"I wish men wouldn't be judged for expressing themselves with their fashion. Because if these choices exist they are often difficult to find or unavailable. And when you find them and wear them you have to deal with a bunch of insecure babies whining about their masculinity."

throwaway1537854

Who Cares?

"Not being judged for choosing to not have lust-driven conquests."

OldSoulRobertson

"Oh yes I didn't like any girl for the longest time and I wouldn't call anyone hot or anything so all my friends started to call me gay or saying that I'm hiding my crush from them. Like damn maybe I have other stuff in life that matters more." ~ OtakuKing613

Baring It

"Being able to go shirtless, not in most businesses obviously, but like outside or swimming etc."

"ETA: I didn't realize it's technically legal where I live. However that conflicts with indecent exposure laws..."

"Also people would stare, be creepy, freak out, etc." ~ Zoe_118

Finding

"Being able to locate items in the refrigerator."

Errol-Flynns-Ghost

"Being able to locate items, period. The only reason I don't swear they are hiding this stuff and then pulling it out and putting it somewhere when I ask about it is because they don't have pockets to hide it in."

Shabbona1

"Nora Ephron wrote about this in 'Heartburn'. She calls it 'Refrigerator Blindness.'" ~ kshearules

The Best

"The fact that it’s totally acceptable for a woman to be a 'stay at home mom.' However, if you’re a man and are a 'stay at home dad' you’re a dead beat or a bum." ~ GkGoff

"I did the stay at home dad thing for a full year. Women thought I was a god and my friends thought I was the luckiest freaking guy around. I will admit that it's a good bit of work and no one who does it is a bum, man or woman. Anyone who can do it is a next level champ in my opinion." ~ SeptonMerryballs

The Wonder

"I've wondered what it would be like to have a penis. I mean them seem dangly and impractical but also fun at the same time. Men seem to love them SOOO much. I don't think Id want to be a man permanently but just for a day to know what it's like." ~ Beautiful_Plankton97

"Having penis is like having a really long phone charger. Very nice for certain things but sometimes it just gets in the way." ~ FerociousPancake

Design For New Commemorative Coin Featuring Trump Just Dropped—And People Can't Believe It's Real

On March 19, the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), comprising people appointed by MAGA Republican President Donald Trump, unanimously approved a final design concept proposed for a 24-karat gold United States semiquincentennial commemorative coin.

Instead of featuring the Declaration of Independence or some other images central to the foundation of the nation in 1776 or more universally recognized symbols from the last 250 years, the CFA chose a sketch based on a photo of Trump leaning over the Resolute desk in the Oval Office for the coin's obverse or "heads" side.

Gavin Newsom Said What We're All Thinking About Trump's Decision To Deploy ICE To Airports

After President Donald Trump moved to deploy ICE agents to U.S. airports amid a partial government shutdown that has caused exceptionally long delays at TSA lines nationwide, California Governor Gavin Newsom pointed out exactly why the move is so troubling for citizens and non-citizens alike.

ICE agents are still getting paid during the shutdown, unlike TSA agents, who are currently working unpaid and struggling amid the affordability crisis. News outlets have confirmed ICE agents have been deployed in airports that serve Democratic strongholds, particularly John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports (New York), O'Hare International Airport (Chicago), and others.
