Influencer Dad Speaks Out After Being Shamed For Using Leashes On His 5-Year-Old Quintuplets

Influencer Dad Speaks Out After Being Shamed For Using Leashes On His 5-Year-Old Quintuplets

We all know some people are weirdly opinionated about how other people parent their kids.

And though we can all agree it's good for us as humans to get outside, some of those people also have very strong stances about parents taking their kids out in public and how those kids behave while they're in the public eye.

Jordan Driskell and his wife Briana tried to get pregnant for a while and eventually turned to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). They became parents to five children—quintuplets or quints.

That's five children all born at the same time.

Driskell shared on his TikTok, where he's known as @drixxleman, the story of how they became pregnant, what it was like having and raising quintuplets and what it’s like to go on adventures with so many young kids.

Viewers were fascinated by the content and had countless questions about the couple's unique experience.

But when Driskell shared he used children's leases for his kids, the internet suddenly had a lot to say.

Driskell first shared the reel on Instagram and TikTok, which you can see here:

Some people gave the parents credit for doing what they needed to do in order to keep their family safe.

But others were critical of the use of the children's leases and referred to their kids as "dogs" and "rescues."

But he was prepared to troll the skeptics with videos of him and his wife "training" their kids.

In a clearly satirical response, the family of seven was walking through a supermarket, Jordan pushing one cart with three of his children, and Briana pushing a cart with the other two. Both parents were smiling broadly, and the kids were happily waving from their places in the carts.

In another video, Driskell showed his children out walking and leash-free.

Walking down a sidewalk in a suburban neighborhood, Driskell filmed his five children walking together in a group next to his wife, Briana.

In the voiceover, Driskill said:

"Out practicing our independence, leash-free, for all the haters out there."

But in the caption of the video, Driskell clarified:

"I only did this because my wife was with me."

While we may not all be able to agree about whether or not children's leashes are the right tool to use, we should be able to agree that keeping children safe is the top priority. As long as these parents keep their children safe and happy, maybe using their children's leashes shouldn't be seen as such a bad thing.

Even Trump's NASA Director Had To Set Kim Kardashian Straight After She Said The Moon Landing 'Didn't Happen'

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy—who is also NASA's Acting Administrator—issued the weirdest fact-check ever when he corrected reality star Kim Kardashian after she revealed herself to be a moon landing conspiracist.

Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax—and Kardashian certainly made it clear where she stands in a video speaking to co-star Sarah Paulson on the set of the new Hulu drama All’s Fair.

Biggest Financial Mistakes People Make In Their 20s

It can be really fun to experience something for the first time that you've never really had before, like a disposable income.

For the average person, there isn't generally a lot of excess money to spend frivolously when they're a child, so when they hit their twenties and have their first "real" or "more important" job, they might find themselves in a position to enjoy some of the finer things in life.

Special Olympics Fires Back At Kid Rock With Powerful Statement After He Used 'The R-Word' To Describe Halloween Costume

MAGA singer Kid Rock was called out by Loretta Claiborne, the Chief Inspiration Officer of the Special Olympics, after he used the "r-word"—a known ableist slur—to describe his Halloween costume this year.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, was speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters when he donned a face mask and said he'd be going as a "r**ard" for Halloween. Watters had guessed he was dressed as Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who spearheaded the nation's COVID-19 pandemic response.
