The "Espresso" singer offered an iconic response after a troll on X asked if she has "a personality outside of sex."

Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album has caused quite a stir in people's espresso after she revealed the cover art in a post on X.

On June 11th, the American singer posted the image of herself on her hands and knees, wearing a black bodycon dress with a ribbon and black heels. Carpenter’s hand touches the knee of a mystery man wearing a black suit who is seen gripping a lock of the bombshell blonde’s hair.

Next to the scandalous photo, Carpenter posted a picture of her newly adopted golden retriever puppy wearing a blue collar with an identification tag featuring the title of her album, Man’s Best Friend.

An X user, whose account is now listed as suspended, reposted the cover and replied, “Does she have a personality out of sex?”

And Carpenter clapped back with a cheeky six-word reply:

“[G]irl yes and it is goooooood”

And it is good. Fans praised the singer and actress’ many talents, from hilarious appearances on Saturday Night Live with the womanizer character Domingo, to starring on Broadway as Cady Heron in Mean Girls, the musical.

On June 5th, Carpenter premiered her lead single “Manchild,” which features country-inspired pop lyrics about an immature ex-boyfriend and shows the singer in her own style of Daisy Dukes.

The Girl Meets World singer is also featured on this month’s issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and she spoke about critics who complain that her music only focuses on sex.

Discussing how her concert moments have become viral, she told the interviewer:

“It’s always so funny to me when people complain
They’re like, ‘All she does is sing about this.’"
"But those are the songs that you’ve made popular. Clearly, you love sex. You’re obsessed with it. It’s in my show.”

During her Short n’ Sweet tour, Carpenter referenced her performance of “Juno” where she sings, “I might let you make me Juno” while acting out sex positions on stage. For “Bed Chem,” Carpenter sings the song on a heart-shaped bed while staging a sex scene with a male dancer behind a curtain.

Those moments, memorialized online by fans, have been shamed and criticized by parents—even though Carpenter’s latest music is not considered suitable for younger audiences.

Carpenter discussed how female artists are often over-critiqued and shamed relentlessly both on and offline:

“I don’t want to be pessimistic, but I truly feel like I’ve never lived in a time where women have been picked apart more, and scrutinized in every capacity."
"I’m not just talking about me. I’m talking about every female artist that is making art right now.”

The article also referenced a bonus track in Short n’ Sweet called “Needless to Say,” where Carpenter laments the scrutiny she faces in a lyric: “We just have to grow thicker skin, but they don’t have to learn how to shut their mouths.”

After she shut down the latest critique from the X user, the internet defended the singer, with some referring to Justin Bieber’s viral “It’s not clocking to you” meme:

X CEO Resigns Day After AI Chatbot Grok Praised Hitler In Alarming Series Of Antisemitic Tweets

Linda Yaccarino—the former NBC Universal executive who later took the reins at X—stepped down as CEO of billionaire Elon Musk's platform after two years on the job just a day after Grok, the platform's AI chatbot, went on antisemitic rants and openly praised Adolf Hitler.

Grok issued deeply antisemitic responses on Tuesday following a reported software update that encouraged the bot to embrace what developers described as the “politically incorrect.” Taking that directive to heart, Grok responded with a series of disturbing posts that included praise for Hitler and even a statement expressing its aspiration to become a “digital version” of the Nazi leader.
