Following the President's positive test for the virus and subsequent hospitalization last week, Donald Trump was transferred from Walter Reed Medical Center to the medical suite at the White House after some of his symptoms improved.

The President took the opportunity to tell his supporters not to "be afraid" of the virus since he had received such fantastic medical care at the taxpayer's expense.

Meanwhile, Trump continued to attack "socialized medicine" while the Senate pushes through a new Supreme Court Justice nominee who has previously signaled her belief that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders chimed in on the President's attacks on Twitter, pointing out that the fine care Trump had received was a perfect example of the "socialized medicine" he was denying the American people.

As is so often the case, President Trump wants the best for himself for free while demanding Americans pay far more for far less.

Though Trump has repeatedly claimed to the press that he has a plan to replace the ACA, his administration's only action regarding President Obama's signature legislation has been an attempt to repeal it.

President Trump doesn't seem to care about protecting his fellow Americans from the virus.

The President believes Americans should have to pay exorbitant amounts to give themselves healthcare, though he and other powerful Republicans are provided healthcare through their positions.

Martin Luther King once said:

"The problem is that [America] all to often [has] socialism for the rich and rugged free enterprise capitalism for the poor."

The President's medical care was paid for by the nation's taxpayers, a group of people Trump is usually not a part of according to a recent expose by The New York Times.

The President received excellent care through "socialized medicine." Someday, perhaps Americans at levels of wealth can receive the same.

Former GOP Senator Gets Brutal Wakeup Call After Criticizing People For Playing 'Candy Crush' Instead Of 'Making Babies'

Ben Sasse represented Nebraska in the United States Senate from 2015 to 2023. As a Midwestern moderate, the sometimes controversial Sasse was often critical of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump on social media and on the Senate floor.

At one point, the Nebraska GOP censured him because of his criticism of Trump. But Sasse, like Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins, would still vote with the majority of his party when his vote was needed to back Trump's agenda.
