Miranda Pearce stunned TikTok by laying out just how much it cost for her family of four to visit Universal Studios in Florida.

For anyone who enjoys traveling or going on fun adventures, one destination many people will add to their itinerary is a theme park. But they should go into this with the understanding going to the park will be dazzlingly expensive.

TikToker Miranda Pearce—@mirandapearcemindset—despite her many videos about research, planning ahead and taking things in stride clearly was not aware of how expensive taking a family of four to Universal Studios in Florida was going to be.

After the fact, Pearce shared one video, featuring what the family spent on tickets, fast passes, food and special features throughout the day. She anticipated her audience being as shocked as she was.

Pearce opened the video by saying:

"Guess how much we spent on one day at Universal Studios Florida. Wait until the end, you ain't gonna believe it."

The Pearce family started the day by spending $21 at Wendy's outside of the park and $27 for parking, which Pearce claimed was the cheapest option available.

To follow was a $19 refillable cup, which was immediately spilled by Pearce's son, and $62 for lunch at the park.

Also at the park, the family purchased a Harry Potter-themed notebook and pen for $42.60, ice cream for $20, coffee for $4, and dinner for $34.

The family also spent $880 on their admission tickets and fast passes.

Some didn't understand why Pearce was so surprised by the price tag for a family of four.

While Pearce expected all viewers of her TikTok video to be shocked by how much her family spent for a day at Universal Studios in Florida, the only surprised person turned out to be Pearce herself.

Not only were there ample ways for Pearce to save money the next time—like buying the tickets while still in the UK or buying the tickets in bulk—but as the TikTok community pointed out there were still far more expensive theme parks the Pearce family could attend.
