High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens denounced the paparazzi for leaking photos of her and her husband Cole Tucker's first baby on the internet.
In 2020, Hudgens started dating Tucker, an MLB shortstop and outfielder, after they met during a meditation group call. They tied the knot in Tulum, Mexico on December 2, 2023.
The couple welcomed their first child on July 3, 2024, according to E! News via an inside source.
Unfortunately, she was robbed of an opportunity to share the special news with personal photos on her own terms.
When Hudgens discovered images of her holding her newborn had leaked online, the 35-year-old took to her Instagram story and slammed the paparazzi for this level of invasiveness.
She wrote on July 4:
"We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media."

She continued:
"Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy."
Fans couldn't believe the exploitation of Hudgens' family privacy.
Some media outlets sent the new mom some love—and did so without sharing the leaked photos.
Hudgens and Cole initially met over a group meditation Zoom call. In a December interview with Vogue, she recalled asking a friend about him.
She told the fashion magazine:
"I was literally on the Zoom with my girlfriend, and I started hitting her asking who he was, and she had never seen him before."
"So I proceeded to look on the Zoom square to find out his name and found him on Instagram—and he sent a DM the next day."
They began dating, and three years later, Cole proposed to her when they were visiting Paris.
"It’s the most romantic city in the world,” said Hudgens, and said of the proposal location:
"[But,] I was very surprised. I dropped a hint that that would be the ideal place, but kind of forgot about it because I didn’t want to have any expectations on the trip."
"I just wanted to enjoy it for what it was, and he caught me completely off guard.”
Cole recently had his 28th birthday on July 3, and Hudgens celebrated with a carousel of photos on Instagram and gushed:
"Happy birthday to my slice of heaven @cotuck 🥳 you make the world a brighter place just by being you ♥️🤟🏽"
How sweet that Hudgens' hubby shares the same birthdate as their first child.
