At any given point in time, there are about 3 million people playing the video game Fortnite on Xbox, Playstation, or PC, making it the most played game in the world. In Fortnite Battle Royale, 100 players are dropped onto an island littered with guns with nothing but a pickaxe and the ability to build forts out of harvested materials—the last player left alive is the winner. The game has become massively popular on Snapchat and Twitter, but that popularity has just found a new avenue: American collegiate institutions.

Ohio's Ashland University will now offer a Fortnite based scholarship through their e-sports team (which plays Overwatch, Rocket League, and Fortnite).

The Ashland e-sports team is truly honored to be what will surely be the first of MANY colleges offering Fortnite scholarships.

Young twitter users were, needless to say, pretty interested in enrolling at Ashland.

It looks like Ashland is taking the whole e-sports wave very seriously.

And, among gamers at least, it's one of the classiest things Ashland can do.

But the real question we all should be asking?

Woman Has Full Meltdown When Airport Security Escorts Her Off Plane For Watching Videos Without Headphones

Traveling by plane can be stressful, what with checking in, going through security, and getting a spot in the overhead bin for your luggage.

Then there is the unpredictability of who will be sitting next to you on your flight. Many people's hearts drop when they see they will be sitting next to a baby or an infant, who is bound to make noise during the trip.

Katherine Heigl Addresses Backlash From Fans After Attending Pet Charity Event At Mar-A-Lago

Katherine Heigl's career has been ridden with scandal ever since allegations about her conduct on the set of Grey's Anatomy back in the 2000s.

But in later years she had amassed a great deal of goodwill by owning up to her behavior and also speaking openly about the often sexist ways the scandal was talked about at the time.
