Trump-Supporting Beauty Queen Stripped Of Her Miss Michigan Title Over 'Racist, Islamophobic, And Insensitive' Social Media Posts

Gird your loins.

What I'm about to tell you is shocking:

A supporter of President Donald Trump posted insensitive material on Twitter.

Now that you're nice and nestled on your fainting couch...

Twenty year old Kathy Zhu tweeted correspondence with the organizers of Miss World America after they stripped her of her Miss Michigan title when Zhu's racist and islamophobic tweets from 2018 came to light.

Zhu claims that it was her "refusal to try on a hijab," that organizers considered prejudiced. In actuality, Zhu tweeted a photo of a booth at her school encouraging students to try on a hijab voluntarily.

The caption of the photo read:

"So you're telling me that it's now just a fashion accessory and not a religious thing? Or are you just trying to get women used to being oppressed under Islam?"

Zhu also posted pictures of her text correspondence with the state organizers.

They confronted her with another of her tweets that read:

"Did you know the majority of black deaths are caused by other blacks? Fix problems within your own community first before blaming others"

What Zhu failed to mention is that this is true with practically every race in America—more crimes are committed against people of the same race as the criminal.

It wasn't long before more receipts emerged.

People were quick to let Zhu know how they felt.

Yikes.

Trump Gets Brutal Reminder After Shaming Former Counterterrorism Chief For Remarrying Too Quickly After Wife's Death

President Donald Trump was given a blunt reminder of his own past after he shamed Joe Kent, the former National Counterterrorism Center director who recently resigned over the war with Iran, saying Kent had remarried too quickly after the death of his first wife.

Kent, a former Green Beret and political candidate with ties to right-wing extremists, was confirmed last July in a 52–44 vote to lead the National Counterterrorism Center, where he oversaw efforts to analyze and detect terrorist threats.
