Trump Claims ISIS Uses The Internet Better Than Anyone But Himself In Rambling Speech

Trump Claims ISIS Uses The Internet Better Than Anyone But Himself In Rambling Speech

President Donald Trump was triumphant during a speech taking credit for a US forces operation that resulted in the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

But as usual, it wasn't long before the tangents of his rambling speech distracted from the main point.

The President claimed that ISIS uses the internet better than anyone—except for him, he said, referring to himself in the third person.

Watch below:

Trump said:

"They use the Internet better than almost anybody in the world, perhaps other than Donald Trump. But they use the Internet incredibly well, and what they've done with the Internet and through recruiting and everything, and that is why he died like a dog, he died like a coward."

If sheer quantity—not quality—of tweets counts as internet acumen, then Trump would have a point.

But mostly, people were just hearing the President compare himself to ISIS.

People couldn't believe it.
