Trix Is Making A Change To Its Cereal That Will Have '90s Kids Rejoicing πŸ™Œ

This is giving us a much needed dose of nostalgia.

The beloved cereal, Trix, is getting a makeover. No, it is not doing anything avant garde or different. It is getting back to basics. In the 90s and early 2000s, the breakfast cereal came in little fruit shapes. However, the company decided to move away from that over a decade ago. While the vibrant colors of the cereal stayed, the shapes became uniform. But after the company received over 20,000 requests from nostalgic customers, they have decided to bring back the old fruit shapes.

General Mills made the announcement on Instagram.

In a press release, the director of marketing for General Mills Scott Baldwin stated...

"We have heard from an overwhelming number of Trix fans who have been calling, emailing and reaching out on social media telling us that they want fruity shapes back."
He went on..
"Kids of the 90s can rejoice, their fruity shapes are back in Trix."

People were thrilled.

People were super nostalgic.

Now, remember everyone; Trix are for kids. 90s kids to be exact.
