Manita, a restaurant in Toronto, called out the 'Star Trek' actor on Instagram after he allegedly reduced staff to tears, telling him to 'take your bad vibes somewhere else.'

Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto has been banned from a Toronto restaurant after he allegedly berated staff members and left the host in tears.

Manita, a "hybrid café-grocery-bar" with a Mediterranean-inspired menu, reported the alleged incident on the eatery's Instagram story and indicated Sunday would be the final frontier for Quinto.

The restaurant, located on Ossington Ave, began by complimenting the 47-year-old Emmy nominee as "an amazing Spock" in reference to his portrayal of the character in 2009's Star Trek and its sequels Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) and Star Trek Beyond (2016).

However, the positive acknowledgment ended there.

Manita said the actor was "a terrible customer" and continued:

“Yelled at staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for.”

The post also said Quinto:

"Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable.”

Manita concluded the message by addressing him, saying:

“Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita, but you are NOT one of them.”

On Monday, Manita expanded on the alleged incident, writing:

"This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time an irate guest has taken their frustrations out on our staff."
"Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly incredible, friendly, gracious guests … who may give us constructive feedback from time to time."
"To all the other Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: We aren’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned."

Manita was praised for defending its staff.

Disappointed fans shared their thoughts about Qunito's alleged temper tantrum.

The unpleasant encounter allegedly occurred on Sunday as Quinto celebrated his 47th birthday.

His Instagram Story chronicled his celebratory weekend with photos of him and friends spending an "incredible birthday adventure"
at Canada's Wonderland theme park.

His IG story also featured a photo of him seated at a restaurant table with a candle-lit slice of cake in front of him.

His reps have not commented on the Manita incident.

Quinto was not the first celebrity to be banned from establishments due to alleged bad behavior.

Former Late Late Show host James Corden was banned from New York City eatery Balthazar in 2022, also for verbally going off on staff members.

The restaurant's owner Keith McNally took to Instagram and said Corden was "a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man" and "the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago."

Balthazar eventually lifted the ban after Corden called McNally and "apologized profusely."
