This week, the live playoffs offered fans a chance to vote live, in real time, for their favorite winners. When it was all said and done, 24 artists belted their hearts out, and the person with the top votes from each team advanced.

There were a few surprising eliminations that caught fans off-guard. Wilkes being voted off seemed to upset some fans (he even gained some new fans this week). Terrence Cunningham was a big surprise; he was many people's top contender.

Season 14 of The Voice has changed from prior ones. Firstly, the Block was added; this allows the coaches to block one coach from getting an artist whom the coach turned around for. Also, Season 14 introduced the Save Button. This allows coaches to save an artist who is eliminated from the knockout rounds.

GoldDerby's odds say that Britton Buchanan is one of the frontrunners in the show. Buchanan is 18 and from Sanford, North Carolina. He's been performing since he was little, and when he was 13, he joined a classic rock band.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

U.S. special forces rescued the second crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran, according to three U.S. officials cited by Axios. The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.
