Landlords will do anything to keep your security deposit—or so it seems for people like TikToker @207eth who goes by Ethan.

His landlord of 3 years refused to return his deposit because the apartment's tile floor "grout joints [were] dirty."

Ethan, who had no issues whatsoever with his landlord while living in said apartment decided on his way out he would extract some revenge.

Ethan's idea of revenge was to take a jackhammer and hammer up the tile floors completely.

"I'll leave this broom here so you can clean up," he notes, waving a broom in the shot before the camera cuts to him ripping apart his apartment floor.

Several commenters were not super thrilled with Ethan's response.

One wrote:

"So he's a bad landlord, but now you're a criminal....hope it's worth the sentencing you receive."

Ethan's response to this was another video in which he effectively said he doesn't care.

Others weren't sure If Ethan's petty revenge was truly worth it.

"My old landlord did this to me too," one user wrote.

"I sued them and got all my money back plus the cost of court fees."

Several people were quick to point out Ethan could hardly sue now he'd destroyed his landlord's floor.
