A teenager from Southern California saved her dogs from a bear attack in the back yard by pushing the bear off a stone wall.

The video of the security camera footage was posted to TikTok and went viral.

Brenda, who goes by bakedlikepie on TikTok, posted the video with the caption:

"My cousin Hailey yeeted a bear off her fence today and saved her dogs. How was your Memorial Day?! (WTF?!)"

Hilariously, the song "Oh No" by KREEPA played in the background, but this was no laughing matter.

Hailey Morinico, the teen who saved her dog's life, shared a 'story time' video on her TikTok to explain what happened.

Morinico and her four dogs and family live in Bradbury in the foothills of Southern California.

"To preface this, I live in the mountains so this is actually really normal. It's the summer and they always come now."

She explained how it isn't uncommon for her dogs to be barking in their yard.

"When I go over there to see what they're barking at and I'm like, 'that's a funny looking dog.'"

When Morinico finally saw the dogs barking at the bear, she noticed her youngest dog, Valentina, had been snatched up by the bear.

Morinico told NBC Los Angeles her thoughts before she sprung into action.

"I was like 'Oh my God, there's a bear, and it is taking my dog. It is lifting her up off the ground'."
"The dog that the bear grabbed, she's the baby."
"I have to protect the baby."

She pushed the bear with enough force to get the bear to drop the dog and lose its balance.

TikTok had plenty of comments on the rescue.

Morinico sprained her finger, but luckily that was the worst of it. All the dogs got out of the situation safely.
