While many Starbucks stores will operate on a normal Monday schedule on New Year's Day, some stores will operate with special hours.

Dunkin' Donuts

Holiday hours for Dunkin' Donuts will vary by location, but most DD shops will be open for at least part of New Year's Day. Click here to enter your location. Coffee Statistics

Coffee is a staple for many Americans. According to statistics from Espresso Business Solutions, 50% of the US population over the age of 18 drinks coffee. It is also is a diuretic, and it's easy to become dehydrated if you drink too much. If you do decide you need some caffeine to wake up, make sure you pair it with a lot of water.
