When you think of Ryan Reynolds, you probably think of his hilarious Twitter presence and Deadpool.

You probably don't think of a bleach-blond Reynolds in a superman costume, right?

Well, if you want that image burned in your mind, head on over to Amazon Prime Video and select Paper Man.

Yeah. It exists.

Paper Man, which came out circa 2010, is:

"...A comedic drama about an unlikely friendship between Richard, a failed middle-aged novelist who has never quite grown up and Abby, a 17-year-old girl whose role in a family tragedy years earlier has stolen away her youth. Richard has moved to a Long Island beach community for the winter season in order to overcome his writer's block."

The movie also stars Jeff Daniels, Emma Stone, and Lisa Kudrow. Ryan Reynolds stars as a character called "Captain Excellent."

But just like Wikipedia cannot fully explain Captain Excellent's role in the story, Reynolds cannot explain anything about the movie.

"I have zero answers," writes Reynolds.

Here's the trailer, in case you're curious:

Do we have more answers now?

Of course, the bleach-blond hair has recently become a lockdown trend amongst men.

So perhaps Reynolds was just getting a decade head start.

But just like Ryan, we have no answers.

In 2010, the world was a very different place.

You can get Paper Man here.

Even Trump's NASA Director Had To Set Kim Kardashian Straight After She Said The Moon Landing 'Didn't Happen'

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy—who is also NASA's Acting Administrator—issued the weirdest fact-check ever when he corrected reality star Kim Kardashian after she revealed herself to be a moon landing conspiracist.

Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax—and Kardashian certainly made it clear where she stands in a video speaking to co-star Sarah Paulson on the set of the new Hulu drama All’s Fair.

Biggest Financial Mistakes People Make In Their 20s

It can be really fun to experience something for the first time that you've never really had before, like a disposable income.

For the average person, there isn't generally a lot of excess money to spend frivolously when they're a child, so when they hit their twenties and have their first "real" or "more important" job, they might find themselves in a position to enjoy some of the finer things in life.

Special Olympics Fires Back At Kid Rock With Powerful Statement After He Used 'The R-Word' To Describe Halloween Costume

MAGA singer Kid Rock was called out by Loretta Claiborne, the Chief Inspiration Officer of the Special Olympics, after he used the "r-word"—a known ableist slur—to describe his Halloween costume this year.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, was speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters when he donned a face mask and said he'd be going as a "r**ard" for Halloween. Watters had guessed he was dressed as Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who spearheaded the nation's COVID-19 pandemic response.
