The Oscar nominee told 'People' magazine how his family stepped up to give him some tips at the Oscars dress rehearsal for his performance of the hit 'Barbie' song 'I'm Just Ken.'

Ryan Gosling blew viewers away with his Oscars performance of "I'm Just Ken" on Sunday night, but the actor revealed he got lots of help from his partner Eva Mendes and their daughters.

Decked out in signature Barbie pink from head to toe, Gosling took the Oscars stage—alongside Mark Ronson, Slash and the other Kens, of course—with an electrifying performance of the song that earned him a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Grammy and Oscar nominations, to boot.

According to Gosling, though, he couldn't have done it without some helpful tips from Mendes and their two daughters Esmeralda, 9, and Amanda, 7.

While his wife and kids weren't in attendance for the ceremony, Gosling did still make it a family affair, walking the red carpet with his sister, Mandi Gosling, his mom, Donna Gosling, and his stepdad, Valerio Attanasio.

Gosling told People magazine that Mendes and his girls were, however, in attendance for the dress rehearsal where they gave him some "tips and notes."

“It was great."
“It was so fun because they came to the dress rehearsal the day before and so they were in the front row. ”
“They gave me some tips and some notes, all great notes."

Gosling then shared his daughters' contribution to his role as Ken.

“They are such a huge part of this for me...It was my girls’ interest in Barbie and disinterest in Ken that got me into this in the first place."
"It was beautiful to have them there at the end.”

People on social media thought Gosling's revelation was all too adorable.

Mendes herself was quite the fan of the performance and took to Instagram to celebrate...and to beckon her Ken home.

While the couple has maintain a private relationship, preferring not to make public appearances together, she couldn't help but show her pride in her Oscar-nominated husband.

Sharing a photo of herself in Gosling's dressing room wearing his Ken jacket, shades and hat, she wrote on Instagram:

"You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG."
"Now come home, we need to put the kids to bed. 💋"

She also shared a video standing outside Gosling's dressing room, captioned:

"Always by my man"

❤️ Love this family! ❤️
