People Explain Which Minor Annoyances Still Get Under Their Skin

Another day, another annoyance. Sometimes the things that annoy us are just part of our regular routine, but for one reason or another, they remain the same day to day. In these cases, there's nothing you can do besides grin and bear it. Here are a few examples of these minor annoyances, straight from Reddit.

u/SirMiataLot asked: What is the most annoying thing that happens to you each day that no matter how long you have endured it, it still bothers you?

Good tip.

The headlights on vehicles are too bright for my [apparently] sensitive eyes. Bonus points if they're blue or superwhite and being sported on a truck with a lift kit.

Joe-Schmeaux

These are awful. Why blind other drivers?!

I got some yellow night-driving glasses to help with this. They help cut down on the glare.

toastyflatworm

EVERY. DAY.

Giphy

Sitting down to do something (or laying in bed), and then right as you're getting comfortable realizing you have to pee.

spac3cat19

Just like restaurants.

Having a ton of options and none of them sound good.

aHobbyist

Having too many choices is actually harder than a defined few. In his well-known work, psychologist Barry Schwartz, calls this choice paralysis. He argues that more choices make us less likely to take action, and to be less satisfied with our eventual decision.

Needyouradvice93

Relatable.

Feeling tired when I wake up.

Shrikeangel

Or waking up in general.

SirMiataLot

Reply all.

Giphy

People that hit reply all to work emails that there is clearly no reason....

Macarthur22000

This is my boss. And then she needs everyone to respond with 'Noted' or some other confirmation and that has to go to everyone as well otherwise how will all 6 of us in the company be on the same page?

crashsaturnlol

Yes.

Going to the bathroom to poop, but no poop comes out.

PeculiarPenguin111

Or squatting forever and then having your legs buzzing afterwards.

SirMiataLot

It's infuriating.

That thing where you're listening to something in your headphones while cooking and the cord catches on a cabinet handle and they get ripped out of your ears and for some reason it feels like the most aggressive assault on the senses possible and you're instantly ready to square up with that cabinet.

just_moss

Autocorrect is your friend.

Giphy

When I make a typo, go back and erase, then continue typing and make the error again. By the third time I have to erase the typo I'll be slamming the backspace in frustration.

LoneCypress94

So this isn't going to sound like a real option, because it's basically idiotic, but try simply leaving the typos until you've finished writing the whole thing. I used to be viscerally against this, typos needed to be corrected immediately, but it turns out that this speeds up the first pass and helps keep your thoughts in order, and then you can fix the typos at your leisure.

Snatch_Pastry

We can solve dust.

That there's ALWAYS house work to be done. You can't get ahead, it's constant.

GravyxNips

I despise any form of constant maintenance tasks.

Also my programmer brain can't accept the fact that there's no permanent solution to these problems.

Why is dust a thing? Can we solve dust?

Mareeck

Ewwww.

Hearing my roommate eat. Dude sounds like a t-rex.

maugisaiyajin

My colleague at work makes slurping noises when he eats salad. He tries to suck it in like he's eating spaghetti.

Sometimes I dream of killing him...

Anti-Trump Stickers Keep Getting Spotted On Gas Pumps—And They're Absolutely Brutal

MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's decision to join Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in attacking the country of Iran directly caused gas prices in the United States to soar and even Trump's MAGA minions aren't happy about it.

Many who are turning their back on Trump have cited the POTUS's negative impact on their cost of living and the influence Netanyahu, himself under investigation by his own country for corruption, has over the Trump administration.

Former MAGA Fan Goes Viral With Video Explaining What Finally Made Him Dismantle His Conservative Beliefs

Influencer Jude Cloud revealed in a video message how he ended up discarding the MAGA conservative beliefs he grew up around, describing his evolution from holding “fiscally conservative, socially liberal” ideals to being a "terribly woke" queer leftist.

Cloud, who boasts nearly 58,000 followers on Instagram, said he actually used to go "door-to-door" stumping for "one of [President Donald] Trump's closest friends in Congress, adding that he "used to say, 'I think, therefore I am conservative.'"

Trump's AG Sets Off A Firestorm With Claim That Americans 'Want Their Tax Dollars Spent On' Trump's $1.8 Billion Slush Fund

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is facing heavy criticism after claiming that Americans "want their tax dollars spent on things like" President Trump's $1.8 billion slush fund that may go to his allies and those who participated in the January 6 insurrection.

The Justice Department said last week it was creating the fund as part of a deal in which Trump agreed to drop his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS. But despite a press release, memo, and a newly-released settlement agreement, many details about the program remain unclear.

Khloé Kardashian Under Fire After Admitting She Had Her Two Cats Declawed After Being 'Misadvised'

Getting a new pet is a big commitment, and when you decide to take the plunge, you should commit to keeping them for their full lifetime.

But if you're going to get an animal that you have no prior experience with, you also have to commit to doing your research so you can care for them properly. While getting advice from a fellow pet owner is helpful, it's always good to double-check their facts.
