People Break Down The Creepiest Thing Someone Has Ever Said To Them

Every now and then you meet someone who seems normal––or normal enough––only to have them say something that weirds you out immensely. Creepy people don't care for boundaries (whether they understand them or not) and those of us who wouldn't dream of saying something so unsettling are left to figure out how to get the hell away!

Rule of Thumb: Respect people's personal space!

After Redditor hotdankybaby asked the online community, "What is the creepiest thing someone has said to you?" people shared their stories.

"A girl off Tinder..."

A girl off Tinder once opened a conversation with me by telling me she knew where I lived, what my kitchen cupboards looked like, what colour my sink was, and that there was a camping bed in my attic.

"If you know the show..."

I have Freaky Fred, from Courage the Cowardly Dog tattooed on the back of my arm, above my elbow. One day in line at the gas station someone walked up behind me, leaned in and said "Naaauughty" If you know the show, you understand. I, however, didn't know that's what he was trying to do. I thought he was just some creepy guy coming unto me. It was until about the 3rd time of him doing it that I finally clicked on what he was doing.

Gave me chills.

"I was standing at a bus stop..."

I was standing at a bus stop with headphones on when I felt someone tapping on my shoulder. I took mt headphones off and standing next to me was a tall middle-aged man in fatigues. He muttered something I couldn't understand, so I asked him to repeat it.

"I ain't here to hurt you," he said.

And he said it again.

And again.

My bus arrived after the third time. As I got on the bus, I could see him through window, standing in the same spot. He was still repeating himself and looking at me.

"I am a blind woman..."

This happened before cellphones were common. I am a blind woman, and on that particular day, I was walking into a grocery store. A random stranger started asking me about my dog. It was all pretty normal until...

Him- "how blind are you?" Me- "enough to need the dog, why?" Him- "well I just wanted to know if you could identify me in a police lineup."

I don't think my dog and I could have run any faster.

"I had been caring for her all day..."

I'm a nurse. I had a palliative lady in her 90s. She didn't say much anymore but could talk to you if you asked her anything. She was just very.. stoic.

I had been caring for her all day and washed her up. I chatted and made jokes even though she didn't seem interested. I got a few smirks out of her when I made remarks about all my bad jokes. She had made a few comments about death and wanting to go, etc.

I had just finished turning her and was getting ready to leave. She looked straight at me and held eye contact for longer than she had all day and grabbed my arm with surprising strength and said "Come with me." Chills immediately went down my spine and tried to play it off so I could leave. I asked her to let go but she wouldn't. I had to peel her hand off my arm and set it on the bed (was not very easy). And once she was let go she smiled and stopped staring at me.

Got the f*ck out of there as fast as I could and had a bad feeling that I was gonna die for a week to be the personal caretaker of this lady in the afterlife.

"A stranger..."

A stranger I've never seen before reciting my plate number that I wasn't even driving that day.

"A total stranger in a math class..."

A total stranger in a math class in college once passed by my desk before a lecture and said, "Hey, I just wanted you to know that you're really easy to make in The Sims."

"I was at a drag club..."

I was at a drag club with my buddies and a man walked up to me, rubbed my face all over with his hand and said "You have a beautiful face." As a straight man, this gave me a good perspective on how women feel being hit on by creepos.

"A daycare worker..."

A daycare worker told me my kid had been bit, again. She says, "The whole room is in that bitey stage! Doesn't it make you just want to pull all their little teeth out?" Uh, no. No, it does not.

Conservatives Predictably Outraged After Mattel Introduces New Barbie With Type 1 Diabetes

Conservatives lashed out at toymaker Mattel after the company introduced a new Barbie doll with Type 1 diabetes, including an insulin pump and blood sugar tracker—an action they say is "woke" while not understanding the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

Mattel revealed a new partnership with Breakthrough T1D— formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation—to launch a Barbie doll that authentically represents people living with Type 1 diabetes. The collaboration, Mattel said, ensures the doll “truly captures the community,” including accessories that “accurately reflect the medical equipment” commonly used by individuals with the condition.

MAGA Influencer Charlie Kirk Called Out After Blaming DEI For High Death Toll In Texas Flooding Disaster

Turning Point USA founder and MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk was harshly criticized after he claimed the death toll in the flash floods that have devastated central Texas "would not have been as high if it wasn't for DEI," ridiculously suggesting that principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion were responsible.

Kirk's comments are reflective of President Donald Trump’s broader push to dismantle federal programs focused on diversity and inclusion—part of what he pledged in his inaugural address would be a campaign to stop attempts to “socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.”
