Original 'School Of Rock' Cast Reunites After 15 Years—Here's What They're Up To Now

It's been over 15 years since Dewey Finn (Jack Black) enlightened those tightly-wound middle school scholars at Horace Green prep school with the gift of rock music in School of Rock.

To commemorate the film's 15th anniversary, the former musically prodigious whippersnappers reunited on New Year's eve and posted a photo of themselves looking well-past their prepubescent prime. For those feeling nostalgic, School of Rock is available here in a variety of formats.

The reunion that took place in New York City included Brian Falduto (Billy), James Hosey (Marco), Becca Brown (Katie), Zachary Infante (Gordon), Aleisha Lanae Allen (Alicia), Angelo Massagli (Frankie) and Caitlin Hale (Marta).

In the snapshot, the actors who are in their twenties appear jovial after evidently knocking back a few alcoholic beverages, legally, of course.

They have all grown up. And now we're feeling ancient.

Caitlin Hale, who played choir member, Marta "Blondie," posted the reunion photo with the kids all grown up and captioned it with:

"Seven School of Rockstars walk into a bar..."

Zachary Infante, who played Gordon "Roadrunner" and is now a Broadway performer, also posted a photo from the festivities.

Buzzfeed pointed out that some faces were noticeably absent, including Miranda Cosgrove (band manager Summer "Tinkerbell"), but there were still plenty of familiar cast mates attending the reunion.

So what have these grownups been up to since their days of rocking out on stage over a decade and a half ago?

Rebecca Brown, who played bassist Katie "Posh Spice," is still acting and as seen below, still keeps in touch with her former on-screen music teacher.

The band's stylist Billy "Fancy Pants," played by Brian Falduto, is now a singer/songwriter who also helps members of the LGBTQ community.

Based on his Instagram photo, he never lost his sense of style.

Aleisha Allen, who played singer Alicia, continues to perform and spends time as a "speech language pathologist."

Caitlin Hale earned her medical degree specializing in sonography at Nova Southeastern University.

She is apparently dating her former Rock co-star Angelo Massagli, who played security guy Frankie "Tough Guy."

The young performers have all come a long way since the ragtag team looked like this.

On August 29, 2013, some of the grown child actors reunited at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas, for the movie's 10-year-anniversary.

Director Richard Linklater and Jack Black joined Miranda Cosgrove and the rest of the young cast, except for Cole Hawkins who played Leonard.

The highlight of the evening was at the VIP after party at which the School of Rock band performed "School of Rock" and "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)."

AOC Saves The Day By Giving Bronx Middle School Group A Tour Of The Capitol Amid Shutdown

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had people cheering after she stepped in to act as tour guide after a group of middle schoolers from the Bronx pulled up to the Capitol hours after the U.S. government officially shut down.

The federal government shut down early Wednesday after the White House and Congress failed to reach an agreement on federal spending. While Senate Democrats are in the minority, they hold enough seats to filibuster and are insisting that Republicans agree to extend federal subsidies for people insured under the Affordable Care Act.

GOP Lawmaker Sparks Outrage After Calling For Dem Rep. To Be Executed For Urging People To Protest Trump

On Wednesday, September 25, an Arizona MAGA Republican state Representative publicly called for the execution of Washington Democratic Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal because she urged anyone displeased with MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's job performance to exercise their First Amendment right to free speech and to protest.

Apparently, urging citizens to make their voices heard was a step too far for Arizona state GOP Representative John Gillette, who responded to a clip edited out of a longer video by right-wing account The Patriot Oasis (TPO). A quick scan through Gillette's X account media posts will reveal his political leanings.

Liberal TikToker Mortified After Discovering That Her Therapist Is Hardcore MAGA

There used to be a time where politics did not have to come into every room or be a part of every conversation. But in a world with President Trump and MAGA, it's not as simple as being Red, Blue, or Green anymore.

Now, the sociopolitical climate is dangerous for many people and still very stress-inducing for others. It's important to surround ourselves with people who make us feel safe and seen—and unfortunately, that might mean cutting out people who have "different beliefs" than we do.
