Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, famously lied to the public back in August about being vaccinated against COVID-19.

When the truth about his immunization status came to surface after he contracted the viral pathogen, the NFL star was lambasted by a slew of critics–including major personalities like retired Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw and radio host Howard Stern.

However, a recent comment defending Rodgers made by NBC football analyst Cris Collinsworth had many social media users completely gobsmacked.

Following the Packers’ victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Collinsworth praised Rodgers and called him an "honest" guy while speaking to his colleague and sportscaster, Al Michaels.

Said, Collinsworth:

“I mean, have you seen a guy, and in particular this year, be more honest about everything?”
“You may not agree with everything he says, but we have heard from the beginning of this entire season exactly what he thinks about everything.”

Here is a sound-byte.

People online were dumbfounded by Collinsworth's adoration for Rodgers, and they posted GIFs and clips depicting his loyalty to the anti-vaxxer quarterback.

This "honest" NFL star deceived the public about getting vaccinated and was also slammed for spreading vaccine misinformation –including promoting the use of Ivermectin, a livestock dewormer drug that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) did not authorize for use against COVID-19.

Rodgers reportedly sought counsel on combating the virus from comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan, who has no medical background and used Ivermectin himself when he contracted COVID-19.

Rodgers said on SiriusXM's The Pat McAfee Show:

"I believe strongly in bodily autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body, not to have to acquiesce to some woke-culture-crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something."

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Dunks On Trump For Hosting The Kennedy Center Honors

California Governor Gavin Newsom trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated photo of himself accepting the inaugural—and not real—"Kennedy Center peace prize" from Trump.

The photo accompanied a post in which Newsom mocked not just Trump but also Ric Grenell, the Kennedy Center's president, whom Newsom referred to as a "janitor" in a post that—like many of Newsom's past posts—is written in a style not unlike the rants Trump publishes on Truth Social.
