Lois Reiss, a grandmother and mother of three, is accused of murder in two states. She is now on the run.

Police say Reiss killed her husband in March before making her way to Iowa, and then Fort Meyers. In Florida, police say Reiss killed a woman who looks like her to steal her identity, reports ABC News Local 13.

Speaking to NBC on Sunday, County Undersheriff Carmine Marceno said, "She smiles and looks like anyone’s mother or grandmother... And yet she’s calculated, she’s targeted and an absolute cold-blooded killer."

Surveillance footage from the Smokin' Oyster Brewery in Fort Myers shows Reiss speaking animatedly with Pamela Hutchinson, 59, who was found dead in her condo four days later.

A nationwide hunt is underway for the 56-year-old.

Court Records Indicate a Gambling Problem

County Sheriff Carmine Marceno tells the Star Tribune that the grandmother and mother has "killed two people and she's still on the run." The hunt for the 56-year-old has taken four weeks thus far.

Court records obtained by the Star Tribune in Minnesota show that Reiss has been accused of stealing more than $78,000 from her disabled sister and spending it herself, mostly at casinos. One affidavit read, "I received a report that Lois Riess transfers funds from the guardianship account for Kimberly Sanchez to Lois Riess' own account.[sic] Lois Riess then withdraws the funds at the local casino."

The woman was removed as her sister's guardian and conservator in February 2016. Her sister reportedly suffers from bipolar disorder and clinical depression and has a cognitive level of a 10-year-old.

She Was Recently Spotted in Corpus Christi

ABC Local 13 reports that Reiss is believed to have been last spotted in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Video footage from Corpus Christi shows her driving her latest victim's car.
