No matter how fun an event might be, it seems there are always people who try to ruin it for everyone around them. But country singer Maren Morris isn't going to let a few inappropriate fans get in her way.
While touring in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on August 22, she participated in a meet-and-greet in preparation for her latest release, Dreamsicle, which she would perform that night.
Though the singer was already open to a lot of contact with her fans, including hugs and personal conversations, one fan decided to take things to the next level by groping her.
Morris did not stay silent about this invasion, but she also did not let this moment stop her from having a good time.
On her Instagram Stories, Morris wrote:
"Hi y'all. Tonight's show was so fun, but someone grabbed my a** during meet-and-greet before the show."
"I'm going to continue them because one person shouldn't ruin it for everyone, but please know I'm there to connect, share, hug, all the things, but please don't override someone's personal space. Love you."

Morris's announcement became popular on Facebook.
While there were, of course, some who questioned how serious of an issue this was, most were disgusted and empathized with Morris.

Though the incident might have left a bad taste in her mouth, Morris went on to have an incredible concert in Grand Rapids and enjoyed sharing Dreamsicle with her fans.
Morris said of the experience:
"Thank you for a beautiful garden venue, a perfect sunset, and for selling the d**n show out. We can't wait to come back."
