At the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC, Twitter user @tresAngelique's Mom decided the art had gotten enough attention. Knowing it was "her time to shine," the mom began striking the same poses as each masterpiece they encountered, going viral in the process.
@tresAngelique had no choice but to document the poses for posterity's sake.
Some positions were easier to strike than others...
But @tresAngelique's mom made a valiant effort to recreate each of them.

In a couple cases, the work of art called for something other than an exact imitation...
But when it came time to match, no one could deny the mom's ability to recreate a painting's posture.
To capture the essence of a few choice pieces of art, video was called for.
Twitter wished they were as stylish and brave as @tresAngelique's Mom.
