Elections Officials Shut Down MyPillow Guy's Bizarre Idaho Election Fraud Claims After Recount

It's a day that ends in "Y," which means pillow peddler and pro-Trump conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell is still falsely insisting the 2020 election was stolen, refusing to provide proof he promises to have, and seeing his fraud fantasies debunked under the slightest scrutiny.

Since Trump lost the 2020 election, nearly a year ago, Lindell has promised that Trump actually won by a landslide, but saw victory "stolen" from him by Democrats engaging with elections software companies and foreign countries to facilitate widespread fraud.

After months of promising irrefutable proof of these fantasies, Lindell said he would finally reveal his evidence at his cyber symposium, where he absurdly claimed the symposium would result in the resignations of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

At the symposium, Lindell didn't just claim Trump actually won the election, but that he won by a historic landslide electoral margin. The pillow pusher went state-by-state, constantly inflating Trump's margin, even in states Trump won, such as Idaho.

Lindell made the familiar claim that Idaho's electronic ballot counting systems diverted Trump votes to Biden votes.

Now, after a partial audit of Idaho's counties, claims of election fraud have, yet again, collapsed under even the most basic scrutiny. First of all, Lindell claimed the electronic voting systems in all of Idaho's 44 counties were compromised. Never mind that seven Idaho counties' ballots are completely cast and counted without electronics.

Officials hand recounted ballots in Butte and Camas counties which predictably upheld the results of the 2020 election, with the hand recounts exactly matching or landing within the margin of error for the original electronic tallies.

Deputy Secretary of State Chad Houck, a Republican, said:

"We also felt [Lindell's accusations] would be very easy to disprove. By disproving even a handful of lines on that sheet, we could have confidence the rest of the components of that sheet were likewise fabrications.

No one was surprised Lindell's latest delusion fell apart.

Others wanted to know why election officials investigated the long-discredited Lindell's claims anyway.

Lindell shows no signs of withdrawing his lies.
