"I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years."

She then revealed that Perry "visits" her often.

"He visits me a lot, if we believe in that."

Cox added:

Perry passed away at age 54 in October of 2023. He was found in the Jacuzzi adjoining the pool at his Pacific Palisades, California, home.

After his passing, his Friends costars—Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer—issued a joint statement that read:

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."
"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
"In time, we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
