On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to impeach outgoing President Donald Trump for his role in inciting the deadly insurrection at the United States Capitol last week that put the lives of lawmakers and his own Vice President in danger.

With the House's vote, Trump became the first President in U.S. history to be impeached more than once, and with 10 Republicans voting in favor of impeachment, it was the most bipartisan impeachment in American history as well.

Even after the President's months-long smear campaign against American election integrity that fueled the riots, some of Trump's most loyal Republican allies in Congress are sticking by the President.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA)—a supporter of the QAnon conspiracy theory hinging on the collective delusion that Trump was sent to expose a network of satanic cannibal pedophiles secretly controlling the U.S. government—is one such Republican.

Hours after the House impeached Trump, Greene appeared on the far-right Newsmax network, where she made an announcement.

Watch below.

Greene said:

"We cannot have a President of the United States that is willing to abuse the power of the office of the presidency and be easily bought off by foreign governments, foreign Chinese energy companies, Ukrainian energy companies. So on January 21st, I will be filing articles of impeachment on Joe Biden."

Greene went on to parrot the unproven claims made in the 2020 campaign that Joe Biden used his position as Vice President to help enrich his son, Hunter Biden.

Greene's effort to impeach Biden on his first day in office is regarded as little more than political theatre—or a political sideshow—to boost the reputation of a freshman Congresswoman among a rabid base of far-right supporters.

At least one of Greene's Republican colleagues—Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois—assessed the stunt as such.

The announcement led to widespread mockery for Greene.

Even if Greene was somehow able to stumble into history by impeaching and removing Biden from office despite a Democratic House and Senate, that would just leave her with President Kamala Harris, as many pointed out.

Biden will take the oath of office, along with Vice President-elect Harris, on January 20th.

Trump Ripped After Forcing National Parks To Drop Free Entry On MLK Day And Juneteenth For Infuriating Reason

President Donald Trump was criticized after the National Park Service announced it will be dropping Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth for next year's calendar of free-entry days and adding Trump's birthday, which happens to fall on Flag Day, on June 14.

Last month, the Department of the Interior unveiled changes to what it now calls its “resident-only patriotic fee-free days,” expanding the calendar to include new dates like the Fourth of July weekend and President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday, while dropping others that had honored the department itself, including the Bureau of Land Management’s anniversary.

Dem Rep. Has An Idea For A New Line Of Work For MTG After She Leaves Congress—And It Would Certainly Be Something

California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia was elected in November 2022 and even before being sworn in, he was locking horns with one-time MAGA darling and Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.

For years, MTG was best known as the QAnon conspiracy theory-spewing, State of the Union heckling, crossfit hyping, Trump ride-or-dying, anti-LGBTQ+ racist MAGA minion from Georgia.
