The Woolsey wildfires burning in California have destroyed many homes, displaced residents in danger, and even brought people together as they try to survive this disaster.

To make things a little easier on those struggling, Lady Gaga visited a Red Cross evacuation center earlier this week. She brought pizzas, coffee, and gift cards to the people who had to evacuate. She encouraged others to do what they could to spread kindness, as November 13th was apparently World Kindness Day.

"I'm on my way now to a shelter in California to be with people who have evacuated their homes. It's one of my acts of kindness for today and I encourage you to do the same. Be kind."

The singer spent over an hour at the center, handing out what she had brought, encouraging people to take advantage of the mental health counselors, and singing to a 98-year-old woman.

It was a wonderful gesture.

Gaga's Born This Way Foundation has partnered with Starbucks and SoulCycle to support the firefighters and their efforts to contain the fires. Gaga herself was forced to evacuate last week when the flames started getting close to her Malibu home.
