In what many see as a moment of unchecked entitlement, Kendall Jenner made a statement in an interview many of her peers and fans didn't take kindly. Now the model and reality TV star is walking back comments and saying her statements have been misrepresented.
Jenner, 22, broke onto the modeling scene in 2014, after years of appearing in her familiy's show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She is one of many models in what Vogue and Harper's Bazaar call the "Instagirl Era" or "Social Media Models," where models are selected for having large online followings.
The backlash came after Jenner, who has never struggled financially and comes from a well known and wealthy family, spoke with Love Magazine, saying:
Since the beginning we've been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the fuck those girls do. More power to 'em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.
It's not too hard to see how some may have taken offense, and boy did they.
Now Jenner is speaking out about the quote, saying she was misrepresented and that her words were taken out of context. She took to Twitter to defend herself:

Others simply weren't buying it.
Maybe a Pepsi can solve this dilemma.
