UFC fighter Julian Erosa is getting called out for using his postgame news conference to challenge trans swimmer Lia Thomas, who hasn't competed in two years, to a fight.

After his submission victory over Ricardo Ramos Saturday night, UFC fighter Julian Erosa decided, for some unknown reason and completely unprompted, to use his post-fight news conference to spew bigoted rhetoric and challenge trans swimmer Lia Thomas, who hasn't competed in two years, to a fight.

Erosa began his bonkers rant:

“I don’t like cheaters.”

He continued his tirade for more than two minutes, having to "correct" himself after actually using accurate pronouns.

"I wanted to call out Lia Thomas."
"I wanted to encourage her, encourage him, to transition from women’s swimming into women’s MMA, and then I’ll transition into become a woman and beat that dude’s a**.”

Erosa added that trans women competing is "ridiculous" before mentioning former MMA fighter Fallon Fox, also a trans woman.

“The world we’re living in, there’s no common sense any more and it’s becoming a bit ridiculous. …"
"I just don’t agree with men’s in women’s sports."
"The whole Fallon Fox thing, girls .. er, guys that are fighting in women’s MMA and knocking them out, it’s a bad look.”

Erosa finished with a butchered analogy, but it pretty much summed up his entire harangue.

“I’m not the smartest crayon in the box."

WARNING: NSFW language

While the exception of a few like-minded viewers applauding Erosa for his completely uncalled-for transphobic speech...

...most people on social media called him out for his ridiculous rant.

Others wondered why Erosa felt the need to challenge Thomas, someone who is not involved in the sport and hasn't even competed in her own sport for years.

And there was some low-key hope that Thomas would accept.

Of course, Thomas is no stranger to being attacked by conservative transphobes (looking at you, Riley Gaines and Donald Trump), but it's so wonderful to see people online stand up to a bully 👏👏👏

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
