TikToker and wellness influencer Dominique Elissa shared how the sauna she was about to enter exploded and sparked a massive fire just minutes before she was going to enter it.

Every once in a while, you come across a story that unlocks a new fear inside of you, and our latest just might be exploding saunas.

Tiktoker and wellness influencer Dominque Elissa recently stayed at a very secluded Airbnb where there was little to no reception, as well as no neighboring houses close by.

The Airbnb she was staying at also had a sauna outside, so she set up the sauna to warm up while she was cooking dinner. She cooked, ate dinner, and was just minutes away from entering the sauna.

Then she heard a loud "boom" coming the sauna as it exploded, causing 10 to 15-meter-high flames.

She ended up running to the closest house she could see, and even then it took some convincing for the neighbors to actually help her.

Multiple police vehicles and firetrucks eventually came to secure the area and to put the massive fire out.

Elissa shared her near-death experience as a "get ready with me"-style video, and she admitted that she felt like she was in a dream or a horror movie, remarking that it was the most horrific thing to ever happen in her life.

What really kept her reeling was the fact that she was only moments away from entering that sauna, and knowing that it could have exploded with her already inside was hard to process.

I asked CHATGPT what it means when a sauna burns down😭 life is so fragile, mum was definitely making sure I didn’t get in that sauna. #grwm #neardeathexperences #gratefultobehere #lifestory

Fellow TikTokers were blatantly shocked by the freak accident and were grateful that Elissa was okay.

Anyone who has been through a near-death experience understands how traumatic it is to realize what almost happened and what could have happened.

Elissa continues to question how she will fully process and get over this. The day after the sauna incident, she was set to host a wellness workshop, and she wasn't sure how she was going to pull it off while still processing all of those emotions.

The wellness influencer is holding onto her gratitude that she is alive and still here when she easily could not be, but clearly there are still a lot of feelings and thoughts to work out, which she plans to see a therapist about to help her process.

Trump's Truth Social Platform Has A New AI Tool—And Trump's Not Gonna Like What It Has To Say

President Donald Trump regularly uses his social media platform Truth Social to attack his opponents and lie profusely, but the site's new "Truth Search AI" tool is unlikely to win his favor because it actually—get this—tells the truth about him and his policies.

A test conducted by the center-right news and commentary site The Bulwark found that the tool, which Truth Social debuted shortly after Trump signed an executive order to counter the use of “Woke AI” in the federal government, actually tells the truth about everything from his widely unpopular tariffs to the 2020 election results.

Trump Just Bragged That Everything In The Oval Office Is 'Real Gold'—And Even Laura Ingraham Isn't Buying It

President Donald Trump received a dubious reaction from Fox News personality Laura Ingraham after he touted the Oval Office's gold decor as "real gold" while giving her a tour.

The Oval Office has been significantly revamped since Trump took office in January—it features, among other things, fireplace adorned with gold cherubs and medallions, surrounded by portraits of American statesmen in ornate gold frames and shelves filled with gilded figurines, urns, and freshly installed Rococo mirrors.

Sydney Sweeney Speaks Out After 'Christy' Biopic Has One Of Worst Box Office Openings Of All Time

Sydney Sweeney can land a punch, but maybe not at the box office. Her latest film, Christy, a biopic about trailblazing boxer Christy Martin, landed a hard blow but barely connected with the audience, opening to a paltry $1.3 million.

That’s not just a loss; it’s a technical knockout in the “worst wide release openings ever” category, according to Box Office Mojo. For films debuting in over 2,000 theaters, Christy ranks at No. 12 overall and No. 9 when excluding rereleases.
