Fox Panelist Calls Host 'Disgusting' After He Lauds 'Heroic' Teacher Who Slept With Student

Kat Timpf laid into Fox News host Greg Gutfeld after he said he envied a 16-year-old student who had sex with his 'hot' 38-year-old teacher.

This week, regular Fox News panelist Kat Timpf became the latest person on the network to have a conscience after she called out host Greg Gutfeld for cheering on a 16-year-old student for having sex with a 38-year-old teacher.

The moment occurred on Gutfeld's late-night show Gutfeld!

After Gutfeld said he was jealous of the student for getting to have sex with his "hot" teacher--which is, of course, statutory rape--Timpf laid into him, calling him "disgusting."

You can watch the moment here:

The flap came during a segment on the show in which Gutfeld was addressing the case of 38-year-old Yucaipa, California teacher Tracy Vanderhuls, who was arrested this week for allegedly having unlawful sexual intercourse with her 16-year-old math student.

Yucaipa Police say there may be additional victims as well.

Gutfeld summed up the story as "Another hot teacher bangs student" before going on to praise the teen for his supposed conquest. Gutfeld said:

"I’m sorry, come on. Sixteen years old? I would have died for that."

Pretty bold move for a guy who regularly refers to queer people and drag queens as "groomers," to be praising a case of underage sex and statutory rape. You sure you're not the groomer here, Greg?

Anyway there was at least one person the Gutfeld! set with a backbone and at least an iota of moral rectitude, and it was Timpf who was grossed out by Gutfeld's carrying on, as any adult should be.

She replied to Gutfeld:

“Again, I am vehemently against banging kids. I can’t believe how many times I’ve had to say that just sitting in this chair.”

Gutfeld, of course, was undeterred, going on to say:

"A 16-year-old boy with a hot teacher. I mean, what was the Van Halen song? ‘Hot for Teacher.’ That was written about this. It wasn’t written about, ‘Hey, let’s have a responsible relationship with someone close to my age.'"
"Am I right to say that it is an unfair comparison to do the female to male teacher? Like a male teacher, 38-year-old, creepy. Female, heroic."

Sex between a 38-year-old and a 16-year-old is "heroic," eh?

But don't worry, Gutfeld quickly clarified what he meant after Timpf called him "disgusting" and fellow panelist Erin Perrine agreed.

The Fox late night host said:

“I don’t condone it, I just envy it. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying, ‘Why not me?’ All my teachers were so unattractive too."

Yeah, a minor being groomed and preyed upon by an authority figure is definitely worthy of envy.

Many people on Twitter were as disgusted as Timpf was.

Vanderhulst was voted Yucaipa's 2017 teacher of the year and has been praised by the school district for her "deep caring" for students. She's been held on $30,000 bail, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating whether there have been other victims.
